Hello Everyone,

The verdict is in...this week (and maybe next week) we are
featuring great ways to use coconut oil. Many consider this
to a miracle oil - helps with life's little and some times
big problems. From dry skin, athlete's feet, digestive
problems, this smooth tropical smelling oil will help you
and your body get back on track to healthy town. Let's start with our first tip and a recipe I really enjoy...go!

Swap out butter for coconut oil the next time you make toast. You might also want to add a sprinkle of cinnamon on top!

I'm sharing one of my favorite breakfast toast that uses coconut oil instead of butter. Try it and let me know what you think!

Ingredients
4 slices of whole-grain bread
2 teaspoons coconut oil
1 avocado, thinly sliced
Salt
Red-pepper flakes
A squeeze of lemon

Toast bread slices, and spread each with coconut oil. Top with avocado, and season with salt and red-pepper flakes. Finish with a squeeze of lemon.

Great tip with the colder weather approaching

One of the worst parts about having a cold (and one of the
hardest side effects to kick) is congestion. To help clear
things out, try mixing up a homemade vapor rub. All it takes is coconut oil, tea tree oil, and rosemary oil. Rub this trio of ingredients on your chest and underneath your nose to breathe easier.

One of my favorite uses of coconut oil, though I don't do it everyday. I need to get better at this morning ritual

Oil pulling is an Ayurveda practice that's all the rage at
the moment, is believed to help your well being in tons of
different ways: it whitens your teeth, improves your skin,
gets rid of toxins, and more. To give it a go with coconut
oil, swish about one tablespoon of coconut oil around your
mouth for three to 10 minutes a day (though some recommend
pulling for up to 20 minutes).
