Matthew 18:12-13

What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

Yesterday we discussed how some struggle with jealousy when the shepherd leaves the ninety-nine sheep to search for the one lost sheep. How much more is jealousy ready to rear its head when the one lost sheep is found! I encourage you to read the story of the prodigal son (Luke 15: 11-31). It may help you to deal with these feelings, if you are one of the ninety-nine who may be struggling with jealousy.

God Bless You!
