Here's the Scoop...

Lately, my wife and I have been watching reruns of 'Full House' on Nick@Nite for the last week or so.

I don't know why we're watching three or four episodes a night. Maybe it's because of nostalgia, the big hair, the awful clothes, Uncle Joe's terrible jokes, I'm really not sure. Maybe we'll never know. Maybe we shouldn't know.

All I know for sure is that we need to cut...it...out.

Be Well,
Steve

Jon Lovitz and Jessica Lowndes go public with relationship
Jon Lovitz and Jessica Lowndes surprised fans by going public with their relationship Sunday.

The 58-year-old actor revealed he's dating the 27-year-old actress on Twitter after Lowndes teased his identity in a series of social media posts over the past week.

"Easter with my bunny, @jessicalowndes !!!" Lovitz captioned a photo of himself with the actress.

Lowndes confirmed there's a "new man" in her life in an Instagram post Thursday but did not mention Lovitz by name. She later assured fans her social media accounts hadn't been hacked and sparked engagement rumors by sharing a photo of her enormous diamond ring.

The couple's announcement was met with both well-wishes and criticism on social media. Lowndes previously laughed off their age gap by posting the Thai proverb, "Old cows like to eat young grass," adding, "And I love me some old cows..."

Lovitz was a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1985 to 1990 and has since appeared on Las Vegas, Hot in Cleveland and New Girl. He also voiced characters in Hotel Transylvania and its sequel, Hotel Transylvania 2.

Lowndes, meanwhile, is best known for playing Adrianna Tate-Duncan on the Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot 90210. She previously dated Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul and Olympic skier Jeremy Bloom.

J.K. Rowling shares rejection letters 'to inspire'
J.K. Rowling heeded her fans' requests for a glimpse into her pile of rejection letters from her time writing Cormoran Strike novels.

The famed British author, who penned the renowned Harry Potter series, tweeted a photo of two typed letters Friday, making sure to block out the names and signature of the rejectors -- for their safety.

"By popular request, 2 of @RGalbrath's rejection letters! (For inspiration, not revenge, so I've removed signatures.)" Rowling wrote alongside the photo.

The two letters come from publishers Constable & Robinson and Creme De La Crime and were written to Robert Galbraith -- Rowling's pseudonym which she used to pitch her ideas for new books.

The move to share her letters came after a fan posted a photo of her own rejection letter, mentioning Rowling, who was denied many times before finding a willing publisher.

"I pinned my 1st rejection letter to my kitchen wall because it gave me something in common with all my fave writers," Rowling responded.

To inspire further, the famed writer, responded to another fan who asked how to muster up the courage to "risk it all for the things that I love when I don't have enough of a support system if all fails?"

She wrote, "I had nothing to lose and sometimes that makes you brave enough to try."
