John 1:29

Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

"I always thought that there were three wise men!" Maybe.
Despite Hollywood, traditional Christmas carols and the
ubiquitous nativity scene, we do not know for sure. What's
more,

Matthew 2:10 & 11 says: "When they (the wise men),
saw the star, they
rejoiced with exceedingly great joy.
And when they had
come into the house, they saw the young
Child with Mary
His mother, and fell down and worshiped
Him."

Almost all the traditional nativity scenes show the wise
men
coming to the manger to worship the newborn Jesus, but
the
Bible strongly indicates otherwise. The only reference to
the wise men is in Matthew, where they came to "the house"

not a manger, and saw "the young child" not an infant
(there
are different words in Greek for infant and young
child).

Also, Herod, after interrogating the wise men on when the

star appeared, had all the male children in Bethlehem
and
surrounding areas, two years and under killed. This
indicates
that Jesus may have been close to two years old when the
wise men visited them.

God Bless You!

mas, which is purity; the righteousness of Christmas, which
is justice; the belief in Christmas, which is truth; the all
of Christmas, which is Christ.

--FEATURED FUNNY:

Several ladies were discussing how children never write
thank you notes anymore.

"Last Christmas all of my grandchildren came to thank me
in person," interjected an elderly dame.

After her peers all commented on how extraordinary that
was, she admitted that she had sent out generous, unsigned
checks to every one of them.
