Hello Everyone,
All week long we are covering the benefits of lavender oil. This oil is the
KING of all - now that's just my opinion.
Lavender is the most versatile of all essential oils. Most commonly known for its relaxing effects on the body, therapeutic-grade lavender has been highly regarded for the skin. It may be used to cleanse cuts, bruises and skin irritations. The fragrance is calling, relaxing and balancing - physically and emotionally. Carrying a bottle of lavender around with you is like having your own personal first aid kit, perfume and pick-me-up.

Hint 1: Great oil to use for calmness
While this is one of the most well-known lavender oil uses, it's too important to ignore: Inhaling lavender is one of the best ways to calm your mind, which is especially useful when you've got a stressful day ahead (or just survived one). Either rub on your temples or wrists for insta-stress relief, or spritz on your bedsheets to create your own personal oasis.

Hint 2: Having problems sleeping?
Again, use the cupping and inhalation method. Then, rub a
drop of Lavender oil on your palms and smooth on your pillow to help you sleep.
I personally use a spray bottle filled with water and a few
drops of lavender oil. Tens minutes before I'm ready to hit
the hay, I spritz my pillow and bedding.
I've, also, heard it works if you rub a drop of lavender oil into the bottom of your feet. Haven't tried this method yet, but plan on it.
Hint 3: Bee stings and bug bites
Put a drop of Lavender oil on a bee sting or insect bite to stop itching reduce swelling.
