In today's video President Obama discusses what all
Americans should already know about, the importance of
higher education.

According to the United States Census Bureau, college
graduates earn far more over their working lifetimes
than non-college graduates.

For example, a high school graduate can expect to earn
about $1.2 million in a lifetime, while just earning an
associates degree will increase that earning potential
by $400,000. Just a two-year degree! A bachelor's degree
will increase a person's average lifetime earning
potential to $2.1 million.

The advantage of living in the Internet Age is that a lot
of this education can be done right online.
