The celebrities all turned out last night for the Emmys. I thought it was a pretty good show, did you watch? I think my favorite acceptance speech was Merritt Wever. I think if that was me I would have reacted the same way.

Mumford & Sons to take long break after finishing tour
Mumford & Sons keyboardist Ben Lovett said the British group is taking a break from band-related activities for "the foreseeable future." The band played its last date on the tour supporting their latest album, "Babel" Friday in Bonner Springs, Kan., Rolling Stone reported Saturday. After the show, Lovett said the band is ready for a long break from a busy year that included several Grammy wins and a health scare for bassist Ted Dwane. "There won't be any Mumford & Sons activities for the foreseeable future following Friday's show," Lovett said, adding that he has "no idea" how long that might last. We just know we're going to take a considerable amount of time off and just go back to hanging out and having no commitments or pressure or anything like that. It feels like the last week of school right now, before school holiday when you're in high school. The atmosphere on the road is one of ... I think everyone's excited about being free of schedules," he said.

Son of Jack Klugman upset over Emmys tribute
The son of late actor Jack Klugman says a tribute to actor Cory Monteith at this Emmys on Sunday should also include his father. Adam Klugman called out the organizers of the Emmys for creating a special tribute to Monteith, a former "Glee" cast member who died of heroin and alcohol poisoning in July, while putting his father, who starred in the 1970s television shows "The Odd Couple" and "Quincy, M.E.," in a routine "In Memoriam" video, the Los Angeles Times reported. Jack Klugman passed away in December. "They're celebrating this self-inflicted tragedy instead of celebrating the life of my father, who won three Emmys. ... Cory Monteith never won an Emmy," Klugman said, referring to Monteith's overdose. Klugman said he has nothing against Monteith, who died at the age of 31, but "to compare the contribution he made to the contribution my father made -- it doesn't compare." "Every generation of television viewers has its favorites, and when we decided to expand the 'In Memoriam' segment to remember certain individuals, we wanted these pieces to be representative as well," Emmys executive producer Ken Ehrlich said. "To a younger generation, Cory Monteith's portrayal of Finn Hudson was highly admired, and the producers felt that he should be included along with the four other individuals we have singled out."
Miley Cyrus cries during live 'Wrecking Ball' performance
Miley Cyrus sang a tearful rendition of "Wrecking Ball," and Robin Thicke and Katy Perry took to the stage in Las Vegas for the iHeartRadio Musical Festival. The festival, held Friday and Saturday at the MGM Grand was Cyrus' first performance since calling off her engagement to actor Liam Hemsworth, People magazine reported. Her set opened with "We Can't Stop," in which she tweaked with little people on stage, as people dressed as mushrooms, rainbows and flowers danced behind her. During "Wrecking Ball," mascara-stained tears streamed down her face as she sang, People said. The festival also included performances by Elton John, Chris Brown, Thicke, Perry and Adam Lambert. Thicke suffered a wardrobe malfunction during his performance when the button and zipper on his pants broke, People said.
