Hello Animal lovers,

Here's another cute animal you may not know much about, that is actually kept as an exotic pet in many states. This is the kinkajou from central america. Reviews of them as pets are pretty mixed, some say they are sweet and easy to take care of that play well with other animals and then go back to sleep in their cage. Others complain of wild hormonal shifts after puberty making them aggressive, loud, and unruly.

These omnivores have sharp teeth for meet eating, but feed primarily on fruits and other sweet things. They are also the only known mammal to 'pollinate' plants (like bees). When gorging in deep flowers for their sweet nectar, they carry pollen wherever they go. Their diet and looks have earned them the nickname of "honey bear." Learn more about these cool creatures in their natural habitat (though there are plenty of videos of them hanging out indoors as pets).

Pleasant Watching,
