Taylor Swift top-earning celeb, Forbes reports

Singer Taylor Swift pulled in $170 million in just the past year, putting her in the number one spot on the 2016 Forbes Celebrity 100 list.

The full ranking list will be released later today, Forbes said.

Most of the loot came from Swift's 1989 World Tour during which she broke the Rolling Stones' North American tour record, pulling in $200 million, gross and a quarter billion dollars in total, the San Francisco Examiner reported.

Other income came from her ad promotions for Diet Coke, Apple and Keds.

While significantly more than last year's highest-paid musician, Katy Perry ($135 million), Swift's pay fell far below that of boxer Floyd Mayweather, who in 2015 pulled in $300 for his fight with Manny Pacquiao.

Had Swift and her ex Calvin Harris stayed together, they would have grabbed the top spot for celebrity couples, even topping Beyonce and Jay Z's $107.5 million. Harris claimed the Forbes list's No. 21 spot with $63 million.

Others on the top 10 list of earners included boy band One Direction in the No. 2 spot at $110 million, actor and comedian Kevin Hart taking the No. 6 spot with $87.5 million and "King of Media" Howard Stern in No. 7 with $85 million.

LOOSE LIPS:
"Someone once told me my thighs were 'cellulite city.' But I now realize these thighs tell a story of victory and courage. I will not let others dictate what they think my body should look like for their own comfort, and neither should you. #beautybeyondsize"

Vince McMahon announces new commissioners of Raw and Smackdown Live
As the WWE Draft nears, Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon has announced the new commissioners of both Raw and Smackdown Live.

The announcement, made Monday on Raw alongside Shane and Stephanie McMahon, was orginally intended to reveal the new general manager of Smackdown Live as the weekly program moves from Thursday to Tuesday nights on the USA Network.

In a surprise move, Vince elected Shane as the commissioner of Smackdown, a position higher then general manager, with Stephanie being named the commissioner of Raw. Both siblings were then told to select new general mangers for each program by next week's Raw to run their day-to-day duties or else he will select one for them.

"I want the two of you to compete and I mean for real," Vince said in the ring to his children. "Let the game's begin!"

Now the stage is set for Shane and Stephanie along with their yet to be announced general managers to select which WWE Superstars will compete on their programs as part of the upcoming WWE Draft set to take place July 19 on Smackdown.

The draft, announced in May, will reintroduce the company's once established brand split between Raw and Smackdown in which both shows acted as separate entities with their own unique roster and set of champions.

The first brand split and draft was first introduced in 2002 after WWE acquired rival promotions WCW and ECW leading to an influx of talent. The last draft took place in 2011 when the brand split was eliminated shortly afterwards.

There is no word yet on how this may affect the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, now held by Dean Ambrose, or other titles which may be split or duplicated in some way across the two brands.

Other notable moments from Raw include Darren Young winning a 20-Man Battle Royale to become the number one contender for The Miz's Intercontinental Championship and Dean Ambrose accepting a match against Seth Rollins for his WWE World Heavyweight Championship next week on Raw.
