Here's the Scoop...

Did you it's been 10 years since the untimely death of Steve Irwin, The Crocodile Hunter?

Bindi Irwin paid tribute to her late father, wildlife conservationist and television personality Steve Irwin, in a touching Instagram post this weekend.

"You'll be my hero for my entire existence. I love you more than words can describe," the Dancing with the Stars champ captioned a throwback photo of her father holding her as a baby.

Irwin, 18, wrote the post in honor of the 10th anniversary of her dad's death. He was struck in the heart by a stingray barb when he was 44 and died on Sept. 4, 2006.

Where does the time go?

Be Well,
Steve

Former N.W.A. manager Jerry Heller dies at 75
Music-industry titan Jerry Heller died of a heart attack Friday at a hospital in Thousand Oaks, Calif. He was 75.

Heller's cousin Gary Ballen confirmed the man's death to Billboard.

The Cleveland native and U.S. Army veteran worked as an agent for artists such as Creedence Clearwater Revival and Marvin Gaye, and as a concert promoter for Pink Floyd, Elton John and Kraftwerk on their first U.S. tours during the 1960s and '70s, the magazine noted.

However, Heller is best known as the original manager of N.W.A. and as a partner in the Ruthless Records label with the Los Angeles rap group's member Easy-E.

Ice Cube famously left the band in 1989, claiming he hadn't been properly compensated, and bad blood between Heller and him continued for years.

TMZ noted that at the time of his death Heller was still in the midst of a defamation lawsuit against the makers of the 2015 N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton. He has said he didn't approve the use of his likeness or appreciate how he was portrayed in the blockbuster.

The film featured Paul Giamatti as Heller.

LOOSE LIPS:
"That was something I struggled with. We put these messages out there that [being pretty] is such a valuable thing, and it's natural to want to affirm something you see is beautiful. But it's something that people can value too much."
--Katharine McPhee, on having her looks valued more than anything as a kid, to Ocean Drive magazine

Alicia Keys' no makeup movement sparks 'Today' anchors to remove theirs
Alicia Keys stopped by "Today" to talk about her new music and makeup-free movement and inspired the show's anchors to remove their own makeup on camera.

"You don't have to be what people tell you," Keys said to anchors Tamron Hall, Billy Bush and Al Roker.

Seemingly moved by Keys' message, the anchors took makeup remover wipes and started taking off their stage makeup during the interview.

"You don't have to," Keys told Hall. "It's not for me, it's for you!"

"I know I don't have to," Hall said. "I love the message, I love the idea."

"You don't even look like you have makeup on anyway," Keys told Hall as she helped her wipe it away.

"Are you kidding me?" Hall deadpanned, "I got a ton."

"It's not about makeup," Keys said. "Look, I love makeup too. It's about how you feel. It's about who you are. It's about just being who you are and not letting anyone tell you who you should be. Even this conversation shows our obsession of the standard we hold women."

Which soap star has confirmed his departure from 'The Young and the Restless'?

Justin Hartley has confirmed via Facebook that he is leaving The Young and the Restless.

The actor has played Adam Newman on the CBS daytime soap since 2014.

"After many weeks of having to keep quiet in order not to spoil storylines for all of you, the time has finally come that I'm able to write you this letter," his Friday post reads.

"Although I am saying goodbye to Y&R, this is not a goodbye letter. I felt it was more important to write a thank you note. Each and every one of you helped make my time on the show enjoyable. I always loved hearing about how excited all of you were for certain characters, how disgusted you were with others, at times even mine, or how we were able to help you escape from a hectic day. You are some of the most loyal and dedicated fans I've ever encountered. You are truly the heart of the show. It simply does not work without you. I wanted to thank you for that. Thank you for tuning in; thank you for letting me entertain you; thanks for entertaining me, and thank you for caring," he continued.

Hartley went on to joke that fans "haven't gotten rid of me" and can still watch him on the small screen on his new series, This is Us, which will debut Sept. 20 on NBC.
