A spokesperson for Britney Spears has denied reports the singer is to marry her longtime boyfriend Jason Trawick.
British tabloid The Sun reported last week that the pop superstar was secretly engaged to Jason, who she has been dating for two years.
Jason was said to have proposed to Britney by writing a romantic poem and filling their Los Angeles home with candles and roses.
But Britney's representative has moved swiftly to dismiss the report, stating: "She is not engaged."
The mom-of-two, who has been married twice before, has previously refused to rule out tying the knot with Jason, insisting, "I'd do it if the timing was right."

Tori Spelling crashes car after paparazzi chase...
Pregnant actress Tori Spelling was left fearing for her unborn baby's health after crashing her car following a chase with members of the paparazzi.
The former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star, who is expecting her third child with husband Dean McDermott, was dropping the couple's four-year-old son Liam off at school in Los Angeles when she noticed a snapper tailing her vehicle.
She tried to dodge the photographer but lost control of her car and rammed into a wall on the school grounds.
But the accident failed to deter the paparazzo from taking pictures, prompting her to hit out at the snapper on her Twitter blog.
She writes, "Paparazzi chased me w/ (with) the kids 2school (sic). I was trying to get away from him and had a pretty big accident... 10 school moms chased him away. Wht (what) will it take? Someone dying for paparazzi to stop?"
Tori then headed to her doctors' office to make sure her unborn tot was unharmed by the crash.
She adds, "Going to dr (doctor) now to check on baby. I think its (sic) just shock."
Mary-Kate Olsen and Kanye West dating...
Mary-Kate Olsen has sparked speculation of a new romance with Kanye West after they were spotted kissing during a night out.
The actress-turned-fashion mogul got close to the rapper as he celebrated his birthday at the Submercer Bar in New York City's Mercer Hotel.
Kanye turned 34 on Wednesday.
According to reports, Kanye invited Mary-Kate to his party during a chat at the Annual Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards in the Big Apple on last week.
Mary-Kate, who will turn 25 with her twin sister Ashley on Monday, was recently linked to sneaker designer Seth Campbell.

Ricki Lake Sued for Fire that Destroyed House...
After a fire destroyed her $20,000-a-month Malibu rental house last fall, Ricki Lake felt "gratitude and blessings" nobody was hurt.
Now she's feeling the heat from a lawsuit filed by her landlord alleging that the talk show host negligently set the fire by improperly refilling oil into a portable space heater.
"[Lake] caused the oil to spill which was ignited by the hot heating coils which [Lake] had not allowed to cool," says lawsuit. "The flaming oil quickly caught hold and began to burn items inside the property. [Lake] failed or did not attempt to extinguish the fire."
The lawsuit was filed June 6 in Los Angeles Superior Court and seeks unspecified damages.
Housewives of N.J. Stars Sued After Brawl at the Beach...
What began with a champagne toast ended in a bar room brawl for the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast, and now they're facing a lawsuit.
In papers filed in New York State Supreme Court, Adolfo Arreola and Jason Gomez allege that a group of Real Housewives cast members beat them up after Teresa Giudice popped a bottle of champagne all over their party while in the Dominican Republic on Feb. 23.
Although the lawsuit claims the champagne "caused severe eye irritation" for Arreola's mother-in-law, Teresa allegedly "laughed at, mocked, humiliated, insulted and physically approached" the offended party, according to the papers.
Then, the plaintiffs allege, the men from the cast including Joe Giudice, Albert Manzo, Albie Manzo and Christopher Manzo began physically attacking the plaintiffs "without provocation."
"They stomped on them. Kicked them. It was all brute force," says their attorney Tom Demetrio. "And there were no criminal repercussions because the D.R. police arrested no one. That's what's upsetting."
The lawsuit, which names the cast members, Bravo, the production company and the Hard Rock Hotel, is seeking unspecified damages for the plaintiff's physical injuries.
