Here's the Scoop....

Supermodel Heidi Klum has broken her silence about her split from Seal to thank fans for their undying support.

The pair appeared to be one of Hollywood's strongest couples, renewing their vows annually, but Klum and the singer stunned devotees earlier this month when they confirmed rumors they had separated.

Seal spent much of last week honoring his promotional commitments for his new album and talking candidly about the split on TV shows, and now the German beauty, an avid Twitter.com user, has used the social networking platform to express her gratitude for the heartfelt messages she has received.

In a Twitter.com post on Tuesday, she writes, "Hi everyone, I want to thank u for all your support & kind words. Really means so much. Thanks again... to the best fans in the world! xoHeidi."

Klum's last tweet was posted on January 16, a week before the couple released a statement confirming its break-up.

Now, let's get to the rest of the nooz...

Home Improvement's Taran Noah Smith Arrested for DUI, Drug Possession...

Taran Noah Smith, who played youngest child Mark Taylor on the '90s sitcom Home Improvement for eight years, was arrested early Wednesday for DUI and drug possession, according to a report.

Taran, 27, was arrested around 1 a.m. in Los Angeles County, reports TMZ.com. Police say he was driving under the influence of marijuana and also had hash, a type of marijuana, in his car.

After Home Improvement went off the air, Taran has mostly retired from acting and stayed out of the limelight. In 2001, he sued his parents over the money he made as a minor, alleging they were squandering his trust fund.

Last fall, he participated in a Home Improvement reunion photo shoot and interview alongside his castmates for Entertainment Weekly.

Elisabetta Canalis is dating Steve-O...

George Clooney's ex-girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis has gone public with new beau Steve-O - the couple was snapped kissing on Monday.

The Italian model split from Clooney in June and was romantically linked to "True Blood" star Mehcad Brooks after the two made their red carpet debut in November.

But now it appears Elizazbeth has moved on to the TV stuntman after they were spotted out and about in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The pair followed up the outing with a lunch date on Monday, during which Steve-O and the beauty were photographed sharing a smooch.

Clooney is currently dating former wrestler Stacy Keibler.

Cornelius, Soul Train Creator, Is Dead...

Soul Train creator Don Cornelius was found dead Wednesday morning in his Sherman Oaks, Calif., home. He was 75.

He "died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head," L.A. Coroner Assistant Chief Ed Winter reveals. "Earlier this morning, paramedics had responded to his L.A. residence at the 12,600 block of Mulholland Drive. He was transported to the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:56 a.m. An investigation is ongoing."

According to Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman Sara Faden, Van Nuys police officers responded to his home at 4 a.m. "Mr. Cornelius was transported to the hospital where he was declared deceased," she comments. "Our detectives are still on the scene."

Six firefighters reported to the scene, as well, a Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson confirms.

Born in Chicago and originally an insurance salesman, Cornelius attended broadcasting school in 1966. After a start in local radio, he pitched his TV idea for an African American version of Dick Clark's American Bandstand, using $400 of his own money to film a Soul Train pilot in 1969. He took the show's name from a music promotional event that he had recently staged.

The Saturday morning show, which debuted in Chicago in 1970, was popular enough to be syndicated the following year. On it, Cornelius introduced some of the top names in R&B, including Aretha Franklin and Smokey Robinson, and, over time, rock stars and jazz acts also appeared.

In 1987, Cornelius instituted the annual Soul Train Awards, which honored Stevie Wonder the first year. Cornelius remained as Soul Train host until 1993, when guest hosts took over.

Barrymore & Will Kopelman Adopt a Dog - Fostered by Nikki Reed...

Drew Barrymore has started nesting!

The Big Miracle star and fiance Will Kopelman took another big step together on Sunday, adopting an 8-week-old rescue puppy from Bark n' Bitches, a humane pet shop in Hollywood, Calif.

For Drew, a longtime animal rescue advocate and fan of dogs, the step was a natural one, but for Kopelman, it was a first. The New York City native has never had a dog before, and after finding the puppy on Petfinder, stopped by the shop with Drew to get to know the dog.

"They really were very thoughtful and not impulsive about making the decision," Bark n' Bitches owner Shannon von Roemer reveals. "Drew, being such a huge dog fanatic, was great to Will. She really wanted him to feel it out and make the decision."

The shepherd mix puppy, whose new name is Oliver, was part of a litter left in a box outside the door of a Los Angeles area shelter. Half the litter was rescued by von Roemer. And in an only-in-Hollywood twist, the pups were then fostered by Twilight actress Nikki Reed and husband Paul McDonald.

Nikki, who Tweeted frequently about her exploits with the dogs, had a sad goodbye when they left. "My heart hurts," she wrote last week.

She'll be happy to know that at least one of the puppies has already found a great new home. In an interview on The Ellen Degeneres Show airing Wednesday, Drew said, "I think Ollie hopefully has hit the jackpot."

Drew said that she, too, feels like she got lucky - in love. "He's a good man," she said of her fiance. "He's a good person and I just feel really lucky and really happy and really calm. Which is a really wonderful feeling."

It's Katherine Heigl...

The actress is currently in Europe promoting her latest film "One for the Money," and she invited her singer partner to join her in the French capital.

But Josh admits his 32nd birthday celebration wasn't exactly intimate - the couple spent the evening watching a risque strip show.

In posts on Twitter.com, he writes, "(I'm in) Paris France where I (am) celebrating my birthday and Katie's new movie One for the Money. Thanks for all the great birthday wishes... my wife took me to a burlesque show last night in Paris 4 (for) my bday - how cool is she right!!!"
