*** A WORD FROM THE KITCHEN ***
We spent a long weekend in IA for my younger brother's
wedding what a great time. Not exactly a fall leaves
kind of drive but I got to see harvest time in action
firsthand all around us from the car window. It was a
sight to see but Hubby was sorry to see the freshly
washed the car covered in a thick layer of dust... it
comes off!
I'm pretty sure we're hitting the pumpkin patch this
weekend with the kids we couldn't ask for better weather.
I have another fall comfort food recipe for CURRIED
PUMPKIN BISQUE today, a thick, rich and creamy soup
consisting of pureed pumpkin combined with cream. Some
bisque variations are served cold but this once is to
be served hot.
Enjoy!
