Hello Video Lovers,
Nobody anymore thinks empires are good, but you have to admit, the British Empire did leave behind some fascinating relics; one of them being Kowloon Walled City.
It doesn't exist anymore, but when it did it was the heart of lawlessness; a 6.4-acre Chinese territory in the heart of British-owned Hong Kong. The British couldn't police it and the Chinese didn't want to. So it was its own microcosm, home to the poor, the disenfranchised, the criminal, and people with nowhere else to go.
At its height it housed over 33,000. A literal city inside a city.
