Here's the Scoop....
There is only one Queen of Soul, but it takes a chorus of
artists to celebrate her.
"As a "valentine" to Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement
Award and Grammy Legend Award recipient Aretha Franklin,
four-time Grammy winner Yolanda Adams, four-time Grammy winner
and Latin Grammy winner Christina Aguilera, Grammy winner
Jennifer Hudson, country superstar Martina McBride, and current
nominee Florence Welch will join together on the 53rd Annual
Grammy Awards in celebration of the 18-time Grammy winner and
current nominee's music and ongoing legacy," the Recording
Academy said in an announcement.
The salute, to take place at the start of the program, will
feature individual and collective renditions of some of Aretha's
classics, though she is not expected to attend Sunday night's
event, presumably due to her recent, undisclosed health problems.
According to her rep, she'll be at home in Detroit watching with
her friends and family.
The tribute will be among several performances set to take place
at the Grammys, by such artists as Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Katy
Perry, Jaden Smith, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, and, in his live
Grammy performance debut, Mick Jagger.
The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards will take place Sunday, Feb. 13,
2011, at Los Angeles's Staples Center and air live on CBS from
8?11:30 p.m. ET/PT.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz Files for Divorce...
The 2½-year marriage of Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz is
over, Ashlee's rep confirms.
"After careful consideration, we have made the difficult
decision to file for divorce," the couple said through a
spokesperson. "We remain friends and deeply committed and loving
parents to our son Bronx, whose happiness and well-being remains
our No. 1 priority. We ask that everyone honor our privacy as we
navigate this next phase of our lives."
According to reports, the divorce documents were filed in L.A.
Superior Court, with Ashlee, 26, citing "irreconcilable
differences" and seeking spousal support.
In the court papers, which were signed by Ashlee on Monday and
filed on Tuesday, it says the couple's date of separation is to
be determined. Ashlee is seeking primary physical custody of
their 2-year-old son, Bronx, with visitation for Pete. She is
also seeking to go back to her maiden name of Simpson and drop
"Wentz."
Ashlee, a singer-actress and the younger sister of Jessica
Simpson, and Pete, the former Fall Out Boy bassist, 31, married
in May 2008, and by that November welcomed their child, Bronx
Mowgli Wentz.
The couple had been linked since the fall of 2006, when they were
spotted kissing at a New York nightclub. They announced their
engagement in April 2008, and their wedding was officiated by
Ashlee's father, Joe Simpson.

Lindsay Lohan -- Felony Grand Theft Charges Filed...
Lindsay Lohan has been officially charged with felony grand
theft.
The case has just been filed.
Lindsay is accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Venice,
CA jewelry store on January 22. Surveillance video from the store
shows Lindsay walking out with the necklace, which is partially
hidden by other jewelry around Lindsay's neck.
Prosecutors recommended Lindsay's bail be set at $20,000. If
convicted of felony grand theft, according to the charging
documents Lindsay could face up to three years in state prison.

Miley Cyrus: Smoking Salvia Was a 'Bad Decision'...
Miley Cyrus says she regrets smoking salvia in a bong, an
incident captured in a now-infamous video from last November,
and says she should set a better example for her young fans.
In the March issue of Marie Claire, Miley is asked whether she
feels unfairly judged, given that other people her age smoke a
lot more than salvia, a natural herb that is legal in California,
though it has hallucinogenic effects.
"But they're not Miley Cyrus," she says. "They're not role models.
So for me it was a bad decision, because of my fans and because
of what I stand for."
In the video, shot during the week of her 18th birthday, Miley is
seen smoking the herb and laughing. "I'm having a little bit of a
bad trip," she says into the camera.
The video ends with Cyrus laughing and saying, "I want more of
that s??."

Jude Law & Sienna Miller split again...
Actors Jude Law and Sienna Miller have ended their romance for a
second time.
The "Alfie" co-stars previously called off their engagement in
2006 after Jude's alleged affair with his children's nanny was
exposed in the tabloids.
They reunited in 2009 and went public with their rekindled
relationship last May.
But the couple has now split again, two months after the actors
were reported to have purchased a home in London together.
A representative for Jude comments, "I can confirm that Jude Law
and Sienna Miller are no longer in a relationship."
Sources also say the stars separated a few weeks ago.

Lea Michele under attack for Cosmopolitan cover...
"Glee" star Lea Michele has come under fire for another racy
photoshoot. Angry parents are fuming after the actress showed
off her cleavage on the cover of Cosmopolitan.
Just four months after she was criticized for posing provocatively
with her "Glee" castmates in a GQ spread, Lea has sparked outrage
again after appearing on the March issue of Cosmopolitan wearing
a dress with a plunging neckline.
The controversial shot has infuriated readers and parents, who
claim the actress should cover up since her on-screen alter ego,
high school student Rachel Berry, is a role model to young
viewers.
Cosmopolitan editors have defended their decision to use Lea's
sexy shot.
A spokesperson for the publication says, "We're thrilled to
feature Lea Michele on the March cover of Cosmopolitan and think
she looks stunning. She is a grown woman and Cosmopolitan is a
magazine is for adults."

Jana Kramer Makes Her Country Music Debut...
She may have a full time gig as Alex on the CW's One Tree Hill
but Jana Kramer has musical aspirations.
And fans of the CW show got their first taste of her burgeoning
country music career on Tuesday's episode when Jana debuted her
first single, "I Won't Give Up," after signing a deal with Warner
Music Nashville.
"'I Won't Give Up' is about never giving up on the ones you
love," Jana says.
Jana, who split from Johnathon Schaech in Aug. 2010 after just
one month of marriage, says her music is all about celebrating
her independence and finding her own voice.
"I wrote this song because I know what it's like to be dependent
on someone," she says, "then have to learn to stand on my own
again."

and was so starstruck she couldn't dance...
It's Kim Kardashian...
The reality TV star was in the crowd at the legendary singer's
Madison Square Garden show, and she got a special surprise when
he plucked her from the audience and brought her up on stage.
Prince tried to dance with Kim but the brunette beauty was unable
to show off her moves because she was so shocked.
In a post on her Twitter page, she explained to fans, "I was so
nervous I froze when Prince touched me!!!!"
But the "Purple Rain" hitmaker gave Kim a second chance to strut
her stuff and pulled her up again, much to the star's delight.
She excitedly revealed, "Went up on stage AGAIN! This time I
redeemed myself! We all danced while Prince played the piano!
Wow! What a night!"
Prince has previously treated Leighton Meester to a dance during
his shows at the venue.
