Here's the Scoop....

As the ill-fated Fantine in Les Miserables, Anne Hathaway has a keen distinction: She delivers the long-running stage show's first-act lament "I Dreamed a Dream" in the upcoming, all-star movie version, whose trailer has just been released

From the sound of it, the actress and former Oscar host, 29, boasts an impressive set of pipes, and the number, which has been known to bring a tear to theater audiences, sounds as haunting as ever.

Anne costars in the musical epic alongside Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Sacha Baron Cohen, Colm Wilkinson and others.

Based on the 1862 Victor Hugo novel, set against the French Revolution and shot in England and Paris, the story centers around Jean Valjean (Jackman), whose tale of woe begins when he is imprisoned for stealing a loaf of bread.

The King's Speech Oscar winner Tom Hooper directs, and the film - which has been in the discussion stage since the 1980s - is finally due to be released by Universal on Dec. 14th.

Now, let's get to the rest of the nooz...

Diaz gave Drew Barrymore's partner her blessing to propose...

Cameron Diaz knew about best friend Drew Barrymore's engagement before the bride-to-be herself because Will Kopelman sought the "What to Expect When Your Expecting" star permission before proposing.

Art consultant Kopelman popped the question to Barrymore during a winter break in Sun Valley, Idaho, and the pair is rumored to be exchanging vows on Saturday.

Cameron fully approves of her pal's partner and even gave Kopelman her blessing to make Barrymore his wife.

She comments, "I knew Drew was getting married before she did."

Drew's previous two marriages - one to bar owner Jeremy Thomas in 1994 and one to comedian Tom Green in 2001 - were short-lived: both lasted less than five months.

Jessie J laughs off 'diva demand' reports...

Jessie J has dismissed reports she has a list of "diva demands," insisting the only bizarre item she requires in her dressing room is a lava lamp.

The "Price Tag" singer was rumored to have requested pricey champagne and exercise equipment to be stocked backstage at U.K. TV talent show "The Voice" during her stint as a judge.

But the singer is adamant she only asked for a scented candle to help her relax, and a lava lamp, as it reminds her of her time spent in London's Great Ormond Street Hospital, where she was treated for heart problems as a child.

She tells Grazia magazine, "No champagne. No yoga mats or anything. That was meant to be one of my diva demands. I did ask for a scented candle. I don't think it's too much to ask for a nice, relaxing smell in the room.

"I also asked for a lava lamp. When I was a kid, they used to have a room at Great Ormond Street Hospital where you'd go and chill out. It was full of lava lamps and water lamps and since then it's always been a way to help me wind down.

"But is there anything wrong with asking for what you know is good for you? Does that make you a diva, a pain? Or does it make you someone who knows what they want?"

Costner: 'Stephen Baldwin lawsuit is upsetting'...

Kevin Costner has called his legal battle with actor Stephen Baldwin "frivolous" and "upsetting," but has vowed not to give up the fight.

Stephen has filed a lawsuit against Costner, accusing "The Bodyguard" star of duping him into giving up his shares in a pioneering oil-cleaning technology.

Stephen insists the actor persuaded him to sell up shortly before he found success with the oil-filtration device, using it to help clean up the Gulf of Mexico spill in 2010, and he is demanding 4 million.

The case is due to go to trial this summer, but Kevin is adamant he won't give in and settle with Stephen out of court.

He comments, "In my mind, it's a frivolous lawsuit. But I won't stop, no matter what. We have (oil) spills every day around the world. We don't have an adult response to how to clean it up.

"I knew how to do it 20 years ago in a very engineered, scientific way. But the oil industry didn't beat a path to my door. Twenty million dollars of my own money later, I have the Baldwin lawsuit,
and it's completely upsetting to me."

"I just read two days ago that Adam Levine is single again... I'm just saying." Single lady Jennifer Love Hewitt, who's got her eye on the recently unattached Voice judge.

This reality star is setting the record straight after declaring Indian food "disgusting" on her reality TV show, insisting the remark "wasn't intended to offend."

It's Kim Kardashian...

The socialite sparked a backlash among fans after expressing her distaste for Indian cuisine to little sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner in the latest episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," which aired on Sunday.

But she has since taken to her official website to clarify her remarks and insist she meant no offence.

In a post on her blog, Kardashian writes, "So on this week's episode of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' I said that I thought Indian food was disgusting. In NO way was this intended as an insult to the Indian people or their culture. This is just my own personal taste.

"There are a lot of foods I don't like... I hate cilantro and peppers, and there are definitely some Armenian foods that I personally find disgusting, but that doesn't reflect my opinions on other Armenian people or my culture. My comment wasn't intended to offend anybody. We all have our own opinions and tastes and I was simply expressing mine."
