Hello Music lovers,

Like most people my age, I grew up knowing Randy Newman as the Toy Story guy, since he did the theme song, You Got a Friend in Me. It was cute enough, and did not really make much of an impact, but his distinct voice sounded old to me.

Years passed and I found this old song I had never heard of before called Short People, and immediately recognized Randy Newman at the helm of this hilarious song. It was quite controversial at the time and he stopped performing it live after a while - but most listeners did not realize that it was a satirical song with a biased narrator - a real jerk!

Well I love the song, and think it was quite funny.
