Proverbs 31:21-24
She is not afraid of snow for her household,
For all her household is clothed with scarlet.
She makes tapestry for herself;
Her clothing is fine linen and purple.
Her husband is known in the gates,
When he sits among the elders of the land.
She makes linen garments and sells them,
And supplies sashes for the merchants.
Greetings Bible Enthusiast!
Wow! The reason that she is not afraid of the snow is because she makes sure that her family is well supplied for the winter! And in scarlet, no less! She cares what they look like! She clearly does not just slop together some garment, in order to be done with it! How many of us rush through chores, household tasks, because we have something more 'important' to do? Is there a pile of dirty laundry sitting at home? Remember, I am talking to myself too!
