Mary Grace Canfield, Ralph of 'Green Acres,' dies at 89

U.S. character actress Mary Grace Canfield, perhaps best known as Ralph the carpenter on TV's "Green Acres," died of lung cancer, her daughter said. She was 89. Phoebe Alexiades told the Los Angeles Times her mother died Saturday at a hospice in Santa Barbara. Canfield's TV career also included roles on "Bewitched," "General Hospital," "The Love Boat" and "The Andy Griffith Show." Her big-screen roles included playing a maid in "Pollyanna" and a teacher in "Something Wicked This Way Comes." She also appeared on stage in both Broadway and off-Broadway productions.


'Game of Thrones' preview gets 3 million hits

The latest "Game of Thrones" preview has gotten more than 3 million hits since U.S. cable network HBO posted it on YouTube Sunday. The clip called "Vengeance" runs 1 minute, 40 seconds, and features appearances by characters from the medieval fantasy drama's regular cast, including Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington. The show is to kick off its fourth season April 6.

Pete Wentz's girlfriend is pregnant with their first child

U.S. rocker Pete Wentz announced via Instagram Monday his girlfriend, model Meagan Camper, is pregnant with their first child. Wentz, a bassist and lyricist known for his band "Black Cards" and for his time with "Fall Out Boy," also has a 5-year-old son named Bronx Mowgli with his ex-wife Ashlee Simpson. "We're super excited to announce we're expecting a baby," Wentz wrote in his online message, announcing Camper's pregnancy. He did not say what the baby's gender or anticipated due date are. "They've been planning on this for a while. And they're really excited for Bronx to have a new little buddy," a source told People.com. "Meagan is a big sister and has a great relationship with Bronx. She's naturally maternal so this is perfect."


Shayne Lamas remains hospitalized

Shayne Lamas remains hospitalized after collapsing at her California home and losing her baby during emergency surgery, her husband Nik Richie said. The 28-year-old actress and reality TV personality was 16 weeks pregnant when she was admitted to the intensive care unit of an undisclosed hospital Feb. 9. "I'm still working from the ICU. This has been the toughest week of my life, but my love for Shayne Lamas has grown tremendously. My wife is a true fighter. Her heart gave out on Valentine's Day and we had to start the rehabilitation process all over again," Richie wrote in a blog post on TabRag Monday. "Thank you to Dr. Marquez for saving Shayne's life [again]. "Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers -- they are working! Thank you to Dakota Pike, Lorenzo Lamas, Shawna Craig, Michele Smith, and my family for giving me the strength to get through this. Lastly, a special thank you to Shayne Lamas for not giving up. Press wants her mom back!" Lamas married Richie in 2010. Their daughter Press was born in November 2011. Lamas is the daughter of actor Lorenzo Lamas. She is known for her work on the soap opera "General Hospital" and in the reality TV shows "The Bachelor" and "Leave it to Lamas."


Emily Blunt gives birth to a daughter

U.S. actor John Krasinski announced via Twitter his wife, British actress Emily Blunt, has given birth to their first child, a daughter. "Wanted to let the news out directly," Krasinski tweeted Sunday. "Emily and I are so incredibly happy to welcome our daughter Hazel into the world today! Happy bday!" Krasinski, 34, and Blunt, 30, were married in 2010, TVGuide.com said.
