Shannen Doherty confirms breast cancer has spread
Former Beverly Hills 90210 star Shannen Doherty has revealed that her breast cancer has spread.

"I had breast cancer that spread to the lymph nodes, and from one of my surgeries we discovered that some of the cancer cells might have actually gone out of the lymph nodes," the actress explained to Entertainment Tonight Monday.

"So for that reason, we are doing chemo, and then after chemo, I'll do radiation."

Doherty also detailed how challenging her fight with cancer has been. "The unknown is always the scariest part," she said."Is the chemo going to work? Is the radiation going to work? You know, am I going to have to go through this again, or am I going to get secondary cancer? Everything else is manageable. Pain is manageable, you know living without a breast is manageable, it's the worry of your future and how your future is going to affect the people that you love."

"I'm being so personal right now," Doherty continued. "But I think a lot of women can probably go, 'Yeah, I've been through that.' It's great though, you get to pick out what size you want."

The 45-year-old announced she was undergoing treatment for breast cancer back in August of 2015. "I am continuing to eat right, exercise and stay very positive about my life," she said at the time about starting treatment. "I am thankful to my family, friends and doctors for their support and, of course, my fans who have stood by me."

Doherty last made headlines in July when she documented on Instagram the shaving of her head.

Ellie Kemper, Michael Koman welcome first child
Ellie Kemper is a first-time mom.

The 36-year-old actress and husband Michael Koman have welcomed their first child, People magazine reported Monday.

Details about the baby's birth, including the sex of the infant, have yet to be released. Kemper's rep was unable to comment.

The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt star and Koman have been together since 2009 and married in New York in 2012. The actress announced her pregnancy on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon in April.

"I was [pregnant] during [Unbreakable]," she revealed. "It didn't really effect filming until the very end. We had a table read and I saw that my character was supposed to be on a roller coaster."

"It was still very on, but I felt like a pregnant lady on a roller coaster is not ideal," the star said. "So had to tell my boss, Tina Fey."

Kemper plays the title character on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, which was renewed for a third season in January. She is also known for portraying Erin Hannon on The Office.

'Splash' reboot to star Channing Tatum as the mermaid
Channing Tatum is trading the pole for a set of fins as the Magic Mike star is set to take the lead role as the mermaid in Disney's remake of the 1984 movie Splash.

In the original film, Daryl Hannah played a mermaid who saved the life of a drowning boy, who is later played by Tom Hanks. She returns for him decades later and gives him the option to live with her in the sea.

With Tatum taking Hannah's role, Hanks' role will go to Jillian Bell who has previously starred in Workaholics, Eastbound & Down, and 22 Jump Street.

Brian Grazer and Ron Howard, who produced the first film under their newly formed Imagine Entertainment, are reportedly returning to produce the reboot.

??? Guess Who ???

Which rapper, songwriter, record producer, fashion designer, and entrepreneur has expressed interest in working with Ikea?

Furniture store chain Ikea has responded to Kanye West who has expressed interest in working with the company.

"I have to work with Ikea -- make furniture for interior design, for architecture," the outspoken rapper said to BBC Radio 1 host Annie Mac Monday during an interview.

"Yo Ikea, allow Kanye to create, allow him to make this thing because you know what, I want a bed that he makes, I want a chair that he makes," he declared after detailing how he believes students would be interested in a West-designed "minimalist apartment inside of a college dorm."

Ikea's Australian Facebook page has since responded with a mock-up design of what a West-influenced piece of furniture might look like. "Hej Kanye, we'd love to see what you'd create...we could make you Famous!" they wrote referencing the rapper's controversial single from his latest album, The Life of Pablo.

Back in March, West had visited the Ikea headquarters in Sweden and noted on Twitter at the time, "Super inspired by my visit to Ikea today, really amazing company...my mind is racing with the possibilities."

Other highlights from West's interview on BBC Radio 1 included the 39-year-old admitting that his headlining performance at the 2015 Glastonbury festival left him in a "slightly depressed state" following a musical error and his political ambitions stemming from announcing at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards that he would be running for president in 2020.

"When I talk about the idea of being president, I'm not saying I have any political views," he said. "I just have a view on humanity, on people, on the truth."

"We are numb, we're numb to 500 kids getting killed in Chicago a year, we're numb to the fact that it was seven police shootings in the beginning of July," he continued. "If there is anything that I can do with my time and my day, to somehow make a difference while I'm alive I'm going to try to do it."
