Here's the Scoop....
Peter Graves, who starred in TV's Mission Impossible, and later
spoofed his persona in the Airplane comedies, died in Los
Angeles on Sunday. He was 83.
Peter died of an apparent heart attack outside his Los Angeles
home, publicist Sandy Brokaw said. He had just returned from
having brunch with his family when he collapsed, Sandy said.
Although one of his daughters administered CPR, she was not
able to revive him.
Peter's most famous role is perhaps that of Jim Phelps, who
led a group of special agents who undertook dangerous and
seemingly impossible missions in the long-running TV series
Mission: Impossible. Younger audiences may remember him best
as the wacky pilot in the 1980 comedy Airplane and Airplane
II: The Sequel.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Graves, who he met in college,
and three daughters, Amanda Lee Graves, Claudia King Graves and
Kelly Jean Graves.

David Schwimmer Is Engaged...
David Schwimmer and Zoe Buckman are more than just Friends: The
couple have announced they'll soon be husband and wife.
David and Zoe are engaged, his rep confirmed.
David, who shot to fame playing Dr. Ross Gellar on Friends,
reportedly met Buckman, a photographer, while he was in London
directing the 2007 flick Run Fatboy Run.
This will be the first marriage for both David and Zoe.

Hewitt & Kennedy Spilt...
Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy have split, but the Ghost
Whisperer costars are saving the drama for the small screen.
A source close to the couple insists there was no infidelity or
other smoking gun behind their breakup, and says it was a mutual
decision by two people who remain friends.
"It wasn't contentious," the source says. "It had kind of just
run its course ? They just sort of looked at each other and
said, 'We like each other and we make each other laugh, but this
isn't for the long-term.' "
Hectic schedules may have also contributed to the split. In
addition to starring in and producing Ghost Whisperer, Jennifer
is preparing for an upcoming Lifetime movie, and getting ready
for a tour to promote her first book, The Day I Shot Cupid, due
out March 23. In the book, Jennifer quite fittingly, offers
advice on relationships, love and weathering.
"She's working constantly, and Jamie's working on the show and
touring [with his stand-up comedy act]," says the source. "It

just isn't conducive to a relationship."
Still, the source says the former couple's on-set relationship
remains drama free and professional.

David Beckham Sidelined by Injury...
David Beckham's fourth World Cup dreams are done.
David, who has been playing in Italy for AC Milan to improve his
chances of making the international team, suffered an agonizing
injury Sunday and collapsed in the final minutes of Milan's match
with Chievo.
According to the BBC, AC Milan coach Leonardo told reporters,
"David's injury makes us feel terrible. He understood immediately
that he had torn his [left] Achilles tendon."
He is seeing a specialist in Finland Monday to assess the damage
and he will likely have an operation either then or Tuesday, he
spokesman says. His wife Victoria is jetting out of Los Angeles
later Monday tobe with him.
"He is understandably upset but wants to thank everyone who has
sent message of support. He hopes to make a swift recovery," his
rep, Simon Oliveira, says.
David, who has played in three previous World Cups, will be out
for at least three months, and a recovery in time to participate
in this year's tournament in South Africa is unlikely.

Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes Split...
The nearly seven-year marriage of Kate Winslet and director Sam
Mendes is coming to an end.
"Kate and Sam are saddened to announce that they separated earlier
this year," their lawyers say in a statement. "The split is
entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement. Both parties are
fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children."
Kate and Sam were married in 2003. They have a son, Joe, 6. Kate
also has a daughter, Mia, 9, from her first marriage to Jim
Threapleton.

Demi Lovato Confirms She's Dating Joe Jonas...
It's like the happy ending to a Disney movie: A smitten-sounding
Demi Lovato revealed Friday that she is indeed dating Joe Jonas.
During an interview with Access Hollywood's Billy Bush on his
radio program, The Billy Bush Show, the host asked Demi if she'd
ever dated any of the Jonas Brothers, "Umm, maybe," she said.
"Which one? Joe?" asked Bush, to which Demi said, "Yeah. He's
actually? he's my best friend."
Pressing for clarification, Bush said, "So you guys went from
boyfriend-girlfriend to best friends?"
"No kind of the opposite," Demi explained.
"Oh? So you're dating him now?" asked Bush.
"Umm, yeah he is my best friend and he is incredible," Demi

This actress quietly decided to return to work by starring in the
upcoming film The Last Song...
It's Kelly Preston...
She made the decision "because Miley Cyrus asked me herself to
play her mom," Kelly says. "I was really moved. It was the perfect =
movie to sort of get my feet wet."
As they filmed the Nicholas Sparks drama in Tybee Island, Ga., last
summer, "Julie Anne [Robinson, the director], Adam [Shankman, the=
producer] and Miley took such great care of me," says Kelly, who
brought her daughter Ella Bleu, 9, along for the trip. "They were
wonderful with my schedule. I just worked a little bit."
But she spent a lot of time bonding with Miley off screen. "We've
been friends for awhile," Miley said in January. "We got even
closer on this movie so it was cool to spend the summer with people
you really like."
