Here's the Scoop...

Happy 4th of July! Speaking of happy...

Scarlett Johansson has been named the highest grossing actress of all time...and the prettiest. Well, the first part of the previous sentence is a fact, the second part is my own opinion; I'm sure most would agree with me.

Hey, Ms. Johansson, can I borrow 5 bucks?

Be Well,

Scarlett Johansson named highest grossing actress of all time
Scarlett Johansson has been named the highest grossing actress of all time.

The feat revealed by Box Office Mojo, reveals that Johansson's films have collectively amassed over $3.3 billion at the North American box office.

This places Johansson at No. 10 on the top ten list of highest grossing Hollywood performers led by Harrison Ford, whose film's have earned $4.8 billion domestically over his long career.

The 31-year-old has starred in 37 films including her time as Black Widow in Marvel's lucrative Avengers series which recently brought in $404.3 million and counting from Captain America: Civil War. Johansson also starred in Disney's Jungle Book reboot which brought in $358.4 million.

The next actress following Johansson on the list is Cameron Diaz at No. 19 whose collective total equals just above $3 billion.

In May, Johansson discussed her earnings and the gender wage gap in Hollywood during an interview with Cosmopolitan stating, "I am very fortunate, I make a really good living, and I'm proud to be an actress who's making as much as many of my male peers at this stage... I think every woman has [been underpaid], but unless I'm addressing it as a larger problem, for me to talk about my own personal experience with it feels a little obnoxious. It's part of a larger conversation about feminism in general."

Johansson is next set to star in Paramount's upcoming adaption of popular anime, Ghost in the Shell.

"If you're not comfortable, you'll never look confident. If you're not confident, you're never going to be sexy."

??? Guess Who ???

Which Oscar winning actor returns to the University of Texas at Austin to teach a film course?

Adam Devine thinks he looks like a treasure troll next to Zac Efron
Stars of the new movie Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, Zac Efron and Adam Devine, don't seem to have to compete for attention from the ladies.

"I don't consider myself an ugly person, but I am a true treasure troll next to you," Devine said to Efron while the two were on the set on the set of Conan.

"You have no idea how handsome you are," Efron said to him.

Devine told Conan about his first-hand experiences with Efron's large, and enthusiastic, fan base.

"With Zac, his fans range from like 12 year old girls to like 65 year old women. And they're all sexually attracted to him. There's no safe place for him," Devine said.

Apparently the mothers are the worst of the bunch.

"What do you say to those women," Devine asked.

"Not much," Efron stammered.

The two star as the title characters in Mike and Dave, a raunchy comedy loosely based on a true story about two party loving brothers who hit up Craigslist to find dates to their sister's wedding.

The film opens in theaters on July 8.

Which Oscar winning actor returns to the University of Texas at Austin to teach a film course?

Matthew McConaughey is heading back to the University of Texas to reprise his role as a film professor at the university's Moody College of Communication.

Hunger Games director Gary Ross and McConaughey, a UT alum, will teach the course through pre-recorded videos and at least one on-campus visit.

The class is open to 30 juniors and seniors and is available without prerequisites or additional fees.

The course will give students a behind the scenes look at McConaughey's new Civil War film Free State of Jones, directed by Ross, and marks McConaughey's second academic appearance at the university. He also co-taught a class with university lecturer Scott Rice during the 2016 spring semester.

Free State of Jones is in theaters now, and chronicles the story of a Civil War-era Mississippi farmer who teams up with runaway slaves to lead a rebellion through the south.
