Scarlett Johansson named Forbes' top-grossing actor of 2016
Scarlett Johansson is the top-grossing actor of 2016, according to Forbes.

The magazine reported Tuesday that the 32-year-old actress, known for playing Black Widow in the Marvel cinematic universe, brought in $1.2 billion at the box office this year.

Johansson starred as Black Widow in Captain America: Civil War, which earned over $1.15 billion alone. She also appeared in the Coen brothers movie Hail, Caesar!, which made $62 million in theaters.

Fellow Marvel stars Chris Evans and Robert Downey, Jr., who portray Captain America and Iron Man, respectively, tied for second place with $1.15 billion each. The pair were followed by Suicide Squad actress Margot Robbie and Arrival star Amy Adams.

Johansson first played Black Widow in Iron Man 2 (2010), and has since starred in four other Marvel films. She will reportedly reprise the role in Avengers: Infinity War, and has long been rumored for a Black Widow solo film.

"I would like for it to happen under the right circumstances. I think there's a lot of opportunity to mine that story line," the star told Variety in October. "There's a lot of places you can go."

"I think it would just have to be very much, like, its own specific thing. It would have to have its own specific vibe. It would have to be totally different than any of the other standalone films."

Marvel star Chris Pratt, who plays Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy, topped the Forbes list in 2015, with fellow Marvel star Jennifer Lawrence, who portrays Mystique in the X-Men films, taking the honor the year before.

Carrie Fisher to appear in new 'Family Guy' shows, 'Star Wars: Episode VIII'
Carrie Fisher had completed work on two episodes of Family Guy and Star Wars: Episode VIII before her death on Tuesday.

Variety reported Fisher is set to appear on Family Guy in her recurring role as Angela, a supervisor to main protagonist Peter Griffen voiced by creator Seth MacFarlane at the brewery where he works.

Fisher first joined the long-running Fox animated series in 2005 and has previously voice Angela across 20 episodes.

MacFarlane offered his condolences on Twitter, writing, "Carrie Fisher was smart, funny, talented, surprising, and always a hell of a fun time to be around. Family Guy will miss her immensely."

Fisher had completed work on Star Wars: Episode VIII in her most famous role as Leia Organa. Production on the film wrapped up in July and is in post-production.

Fisher was slated to appear in the next entry, Star Wars: Episode IX that begins shooting in 2018, Variety reported.

She will also be seen guest-starring in the third season of British sitcom Catastrophe when it airs in the spring.

The iconic film star died at age 60 after going into cardiac arrest on a flight from London to Los Angeles.

"She was loved by the world and will be missed profoundly. Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers," family spokesman Simon Halls said in a statement on behalf of Fisher's daughter Billie Lourd.

Report: Marc Anthony files for divorce from Shannon De Lima
Marc Anthony is officially headed for divorce once again.

The 48-year-old singer filed to end his marriage to third wife Shannon De Lima on Dec. 16, according to court documents first obtained by The Dirty.

News of Anthony and De Lima's split broke in November following the singer's onstage kiss with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez at the 2016 Latin Grammy Awards. The couple confirmed their intent to divorce earlier this month.

"After much consideration, we have mutually and amicably decided to end our two year marriage," the pair said in a statement. "We ask for privacy during this difficult process, and no further comments will be made from either one of us about this personal matter."

Anthony and De Lima tied the knot in 2014 after two years of dating, and have no children. TMZ reported the divorce is amicable and that the couple have already divided up their property in a confidential settlement.

"Marc is so busy with his career, touring and recording that he distances himself from his relationships without even knowing it," a source told People in November. "Even with his wife in tow, she can feel like he is on another planet."

Anthony was previously married to Dayanara Torres from 2000 to 2004, and to Lopez from 2004 to 2014. He shares sons Cristian and Ryan with Torres, twins Emme and Max with Lopez, and daughter Ariana with ex-partner Debbie Rosado.

Jennifer Lopez, Drake cuddle on social media, renew dating rumors
Jennifer Lopez looks happy nestled inside Drake's arms in a new intimate photo shared on social media, further fueling romance rumors between the two.

The snapshot appeared on both music star's Instagram accounts Wednesday and features the pop star lying on Drake's lap as the rapper holds on tight.

Drake is seen with his head nestled on top of Lopez's as he stares at the camera with one eye opened.

The uncaptioned photo comes after reports that the pair attended a private dinner party together recently at celebrity hotspot Delilah in West Hollywood along with 20 others.

Rumors of Drake and Lopez dating first came up weeks ago when the "Hotline Bling" singer attended Lopez's All I Have Las Vegas residency concert. The night ended with the two music stars sharing a selfie together.
