Ryan Reynolds describes 'awkward' first date with Blake Lively
Ryan Reynolds shared a few personal stories about how he and his wife Blake Lively started dating.

While promoting his latest film, the superhero comedy Deadpool, Reynolds appeared on Entertainment Weekly's Sirius XM show where he described how the couple started out as friends after starring together in 2011's Green Lantern.

"We were buddies then. I remember it was funny because for about a year after Green Lantern had come and gone and all that stuff, we were both single," he explained. It was then that Reynolds and Lively decided to go on a double date together with different partners, a situation the actor described as "awkward."

"We went on a double date; she was on a date with another guy, and I was on a date with another girl. That was the most awkward date for the respective parties, because there was just fireworks coming across," he explained of him and Lively unable to hide their connection to each other.

Reynolds and Lively married in 2012 and welcomed their first a child, daughter James in 2014.

Reynolds also recently appeared on The Today Show Wednesday where he sang "Ironic" by his ex-fiancée, Alanis Morissette. The song came up after Matt Lauer asked Reynolds what superpowers he would want in real life.

"I think I would love to be able to on-demand reenact any '80s music video in slow motion," the 39-year-old who then started singing Chip Taylor's "Angel of the Morning" before he was asked to switch over to '90s songs.

"What else is '90s?" he said after giving his rendition of "Ironic." "'And isn't it ironic. Don't you think?'"

Reynolds can next be seen in Deadpool, now in theaters.

David Bowie's son Duncan expecting first child
Duncan Jones, the 44-year-old son of David Bowie, announced he and wife Rodene Ronquillo are expecting their first child in June.

Jones, an English director whose mother is Angie Bowie (born Mary Angela Barnett), announced the news Wednesday, exactly one month after his father, singer David Bowie, died at age 69.

"1 month since dad died today. Made this card for him at Christmas. Due in June. Circle of life. Love you, granddad," Jones captioned a photo of his drawing.

Ronquillo reposted the picture, adding, "Shame on those of you who just thought I was really fat and didn't say anything. HAHA." She and Jones married in 2012.

David and Angie Bowie were married from 1970 to 1980. The singer died of liver cancer Jan. 10, two days after his 69th birthday and the release of his 25th studio album, Blackstar.

"Very sorry and sad to say it's true. I'll be offline for a while. Love to all," Jones tweeted after news of his dad's death broke.

Jones released his first feature film, Moon, starring Sam Rockwell, in 2009, and followed up with Source Code, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, in 2011. He will direct the forthcoming movie Warcraft, which is based on the Blizzard Entertainment video games.

"Games have always presented an opportunity to escape," he told the Guardian in November. "I love games and I feel they've been sold short shrift in films so far. It's my generation's opportunity to right that wrong."

Bowie will be honored at the 2016 Grammy Awards on Feb. 15. Lady Gaga will pay tribute to the singer by performing a medley of his songs.

Which former SNL cast member impersonated Peyton Manning on 'The Tonight Show'?

Kristen Wiig tried her best to answer questions as Super Bowl winning quarterback Peyton Manning while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Wiig appeared on the late night show Thursday fully decked out in Manning's Denver Broncos football attire just a day after the NFL star made an apperance on the show himself.

"I look good, I'm still so tired from Sunday, I tried really hard. We won!" the comedian responded after being asked about the big game, appearing unaware of how football works.

"I'm thinking I'm so far from the line and I have to get it to the, I gotta do it, gotta get this ball to the guy," she continued hilariously describing the final moments of Super Bowl 50.

Fallon then proceeded to ask the Ghostbusters star a series of rapid-fire questions about some of Manning's favorite things in which Wiig revealed that the athlete's favorite pre-game meal consisted of "french fries and toast" with his favorite band being "Maroon 5."

Wiig's impersonation ended after Fallon challenged the actress to display her athletic ability by throwing a golden football through a small hole. Wiig's missed the mark considerably much to the audiences delight.

Wiig has dressed up before for Fallon previously appearing as pop star Harry Styles, Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones and NBA legend Michael Jordan.

Wiig can next be seen in the fashion comedy sequel Zoolander 2 now in theaters.
