The Queen of Soul will soon have a king.
Aretha Franklin and her "forever friend" William 'Willie' Wilkerson are engaged to be married, her rep reveals.
The iconic singer, 69, and Willie are discussing tying the knot on Miami Beach, with an exclusive reception aboard a private yacht.
And for her dress?
"Ms. Franklin is considering Donna Karan, Valentino and the queen of wedding dresses, Vera Wang, to design her gown," says her rep.
Aretha lost 85 pounds last year after a health scare and revealed, "I feel fabulous."
Adds Aretha herself of the upcoming nuptials: "We're looking at June or July for our date and no, I'm not pregnant, LOL!"

Russell Brand files for divorce...
Russell Brand has filed for divorce from Katy Perry.
In documents filed in Los Angeles, the British funnyman and actor cites "irreconcilable differences" for the split.
The news comes following weeks of speculation about the state of the couple's marriage, which went into overdrive a week ago when it became clear Brand and "I Kissed a Girl" singer Katy would not be spending Christmas together.
Instead, both were pictured without their wedding rings - Katy on vacation in Hawaii and Russell in London.
In a statement announcing the sad news, Brand writes, "Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends."
The pair wed in India in October, 2010.
Alley: I'm Dancing for 100 Days...
Kirstie Alley is dancing into the new year!
On Sunday, New Year's Day, kirstie launched 100 Days of Dance, a program in which she encourages people to dance for 100 consecutive days in order to lose weight or stay fit.
"I want everyone to experience some version of Dancing with the Stars," says Kirstie, 60, who placed second and lost weight in the dance competition.
"People don't have to do monotonous, zombie workouts that are boring," Kirstie says. "The thing about dancing is that it's free and you can do it anywhere and any time."
Kirstie, who lost 100 lbs. and whittled down to a size 6, says she stays fit by dancing one to two hours a day and following the diet plan Organic Liason. She'll post videos of herself dancing on the site for 100 days starting on Sunday and she hopes to spotlight exotic locales with special guests along the way.
"My love is the Argentine Tango and I would love to go to Argentina in these 100 days," says Kirstie. "I've got to make [John] Travolta dance with me. Jonathan Knight is going to dance with me. I have a whole fleet of people who said they would dance with me, so I'm excited."

Mo'Nique sues landlord...
Oscar-winning actress Mo'Nique is embroiled in a legal battle with her landlord over allegations her home smells and suffers a mold problem.
The "Precious" star has filed legal papers in Fulton County, Georgia in a bid to be released from her $22,000-a month tenancy agreement as she alleges her house in the state is in a terrible condition.
Her legal move comes in response to a lawsuit filed by her landlords, who allege the actress has illegally backed out of her rental contract and owes them approximately $370,000 in payments, according to reports.
Mo'Nique maintains she entered into a verbal contract with her landlords which allowed her to back out of the deal.
Paris Hilton�s hotel ban lifted...
A ban forbidding Paris Hilton from staying at property tycoon Steven Wynn's Las Vegas hotels has been lifted.
Paris was blacklisted from each of the businessman's properties back in August, 2010, after she was arrested for cocaine possession outside Sin City hotspot The Wynn hotel.
However, now that the reality star has fulfilled all her legal obligations relating to the drug charge, she was invited to party at the Wynn-owned Encore hotel on Wednesday.
A representative for Wynn says, "Paris is welcome on the Wynn properties now."

Selena's family moved from her native Texas to Los Angeles to support her blossoming showbiz career, and when she landed her first starring role in the hit children's TV show, Selena handed her money to the family to pay its living expenses.
She comments, "I think (my first paycheck) went into living (in Los Angeles) because we had to move from Texas, so I think we just had to pay for it."
