Rob Kardashian skips Kimye wedding

Why would Rob Kardashian miss his sister's wedding? Gossip mongers hounded the 27-year-old reality television star and sock designer after his plane from Paris landed at LAX on Saturday. Kardsashian reportedly left the City of Lights, where he spent the weekend with his sisters, just hours before Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's lavish nuptials in Florence, Italy. According to TMZ, Rob ditched the wedding because he felt insecure about his appearance in wedding photos. "Rob did come to Paris but skipped [the rehearsal dinner at] Versailles and the wedding," a source told People. "He just didn't want to see a bunch of people both nights and really just is not feeling like himself." Kardashian took to Twitter last week to deny rumors that he had been to fat camp, saying he was "aware" of his weight gain but was working hard in the gym. He has since deleted all of his tweets posted before Memorial Day.


Sofia Vergara splits from fiance Nick Loeb

Sofia Vergara and fiancé Nick Loeb have called it quits. "Not that anyone should care, but in order to not give the press the chance to invent crazy and hurtfull [sic] drama, I prefer to tell my fans personally that Nick and I have decided to be apart," the Modern Family star wrote in a message posted to her WhoSay account. "We have being having too many problems with figuring out how to spend time together and becouse [sic] of my work and now his, its been getting worse and worse, not fun anymore. We are still very close but we belive [sic] is the best thing for us right now," she added. Loeb, 38, and Vergara, 41, started dating back in 2010. They reconciled after a brief split in 2012 and Loeb proposed soon afterward at her 40th birthday party celebration in Mexico. Vergara told Cosmopolitan in 2013 that she hadn't started planning her wedding because of the large party she threw herself in Mexico. "When he proposed, it was my birthday, and I'd flown more than 100 family and friends to Mexico for six days of partying. It took me forever to arrange the logistics! If I had known I was going to get engaged, I don't do this stupid birthday," she said at the time. Vergara spent Memorial Day weekend in New Orleans with family.

Emma Watson earns degree in English literature from Brown

British actress Emma Watson tweeted a photo of herself wearing a cap and gown in preparation for her graduation Sunday from Brown University in Rhode Island. The film star began at Brown in 2009 and juggled numerous acting jobs -- occasionally taking a semester off to work -- while earning her bachelor's degree in English literature. Watson, 24, is best known for playing brainy Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film franchise. Her other credits include Noah, This is the End, The Perks of Being a Wallflower and The Bling Ring.


Angelina Jolie says she would run for political office

Actress Angelina Jolie said she would consider running for political office if she could be effective, but thinks she wouldn't be taken seriously. Jolie is no stranger to politics. She has pushed Congress to address humanitarian issues around the world. Jolie said she wouldn't rule out running for office, but she would need to be able to create change. "If I thought I'd be effective, I would," Jolie told George Stephanopoulos in an interview on Good Morning America. "But I'm not sure if I would ever be taken seriously in that way and be able to be effective." The Maleficent actress is a U.N. special envoy for refugees and the co-chair of the Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict with Foreign Secretary William Hague. The summit will occur next month in London.

It's Gisele Bundchen !

Gisele Bundchen has been named the new face of Chanel's fragrance Chanel No. 5. The fashion house made the announcement Friday stating the model was "chosen for her natural beauty and modern femininity." Baz Luhrmann, of The Great Gatsby fame, will be in charge to direct the 33-year- ld model's campaign for the brand. The duo's ads are scheduled to debut at the end of 2014.
