Here's the Scoop....

TV executives have reportedly agreed to let Lindsay Lohan play screen siren DAME Elizabeth Taylor in a new TV movie, as long as she keeps out of trouble.

Lindsay was previously named as one of the frontrunners to play the late star in the Lifetime network biopic, "Liz and Dick," which will focus on Taylor's love affair with Richard Burton.

Executive producer Larry Thompson revealed he was in talks with several young Hollywood stars, including Lohan and Megan Fox, about playing the legendary Oscar-winner, who died last year.

He said, "It's a very serious selection. It's like casting for Hollywood royalty."

Thompson has now decided to give the job to Lohan, as long as she sticks to the rules of her probation following a string of legal problems, according to reports.

Rihanna releases risque remix with Chris Brown...

Rihanna marked her 24th birthday by releasing her hotly anticipated duet with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown on Monday.

The "Umbrella" singer took to her Twitter.com page on her big day to share the ex-couple's sexually charged collaboration "Birthday Cake," a remix of an interlude featured on her latest album "Talk That Talk."

The raunchy track proves the pair's notorious 2009 bust-up is firmly in the past as Brown sings to Rihanna, "Girl, I wanna [bleep] you right now. Been a long time, I've been missing your body. Let me turn the lights down, when I go down it's a private party..."

The controversial stars didn't stop there: Rihanna returned the favor by recording vocals for a new version of Brown's "Turn Up The Music," which he also posted online for fans.

The two songs have arrived three years after the stars split following Brown's arrest for assaulting Rihanna on the eve of the 2009 Grammy Awards.

The altercation landed Brown a conviction and saw him sentenced to probation and community service, while he was also ordered to stay away from Rihanna.

Charlie Sheen apologizes to Ashton Kutcher...

Charlie Sheen has written an open letter to Ashton Kutcher apologizing for his recent criticism of the actor, admitting his comments were "disrespectful."

Charlie hit headlines last week when he called in to internet news show TMZ Live to rant about his "Two and a Half Men" replacement, saying, "I'm tired of pretending the show doesn't suck... I'm tired of pretending Ashton doesn't suck.

"It's nothing personal... I just feel bad for him... He's saddled with such bad writing."

Charlie has now issued an apology to Kutcher, but he stands by his criticism of the show.

In an open letter, obtained by TMZ.com, Sheen writes, "Dear Ashton, My bad. I was disrespectful to a man doing his best.

"I got excited and I threw you into the crossfire, but the rest of my statement I stand behind. You however, deserve better. Safety in your travels good sir."

Charlie was fired from the show last March after months of erratic behavior and Ashton was subsequently hired to take over.

Aniston Calls Nude Scenes 'Liberating'...

It's no surprise that Justin Theroux fell for Jennifer Aniston after shooting Wanderlust - especially given the amount of screen-time the actress goes sans clothes.

"Yeah, there was a lot of [nudity]," Jennifer, 43, reveals. "Bottomless, topless. Yeah, there is. It's happening."

Jennifer, who stars alongside Paul Rudd, says her nude scenes fit "the spirit of the movie," which follows the journey of a couple making the transition from living in Manhattan to a rural commune.

"'Liberating' is a good word to use," she says of her character's journey in the buff. When it comes to dealing with the other actors taking off their clothes, she says she just "figured out how to throw on a pair of sunglasses."

There was another accessory she got used to seeing on-set: a prosthetic penis, used by actor Joe Lo Truglio. Her reaction to the, um, prop? "You're mesmerized," she says.

Rudd says he "was too busy looking at Joe Lo Truglio's penis" to notice any sparks between the Aniston and Theroux. The actress says it's "bizarre" seeing her character's relationship with her beau unfold in Wanderlust before the couple started dating last summer.

"I mean, at the time, we didn't think about it at all," she says. "Not until months and months afterward."

It's Janet Jackson...

The singer and actress visited the Big Apple as a youngster to see her older brother, pop superstar Michael, during breaks from her work on TV show "Good Times."

Janet admits she would go to famed Manhattan nightspot Studio 54 when she was just 10 years old and that is where she first saw drugs being used.

She tells Anderson Cooper, "I used to go to Studio 54 a lot. I would be on hiatus from Good Times and my mother said, 'What do you want to do?' and I would say, 'I want to go to New York and visit Mike'.

"I was 10... at 54 dancing. You know it was the first time I ever saw drugs. I couldn't figure out why people were putting flour up their nose. I thought that was the stupidest thing."
