Luke 24:46-47
Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

This, my beloved brothers and sisters, is what Easter, or Resurrection Sunday is about! When you get together with family and friends this Sunday, think on these things- repentance, remission of sins, most of all, the fact that your Lord and Savior, who suffered so much for us, is risen! He lives!
