Instead of using expensive air freshners in the car stick a dryer sheet or two under the seats. They are very cheap and you probably have them in your home already. This will disguise and diminish even the nastiest odors and I find the scent much more pleasant than the sugary vanillas or strong pine or lemon scents often sold for car air fresheners.

Hint 1: Here's a easy hint to remove cat or dog hair from your furniture

Use a lint roller or tape wrapped around your hand. If the upholstery can get a little bit wet, a damp sponge rubbed along the surface can make this task very easy. In addition, for removing hair from carpet, a rubber brush can do wonders for your house cleaning.

Hint 2: Has you child surprised you with a crayon in their
pockets that you didn't know about?

The stain of crayons is rather difficult to get out, but a remedy is at hand. Spray the clothing with a stain release leave over night then using Ajax powder (or similar product) and rub it into the stain with a little water. Then wash normally. Be careful with colors, to much rubbing will take some of the color out, but a little wont hurt. The bleach in the Ajax takes out the stain and the cleaning agent in it dissolves the wax residue of the crayon.
