Here's the Scoop...

I'm curious how this whole 'Live! with Kelly and Michael' thing is going to shake out. If Michael Strahan is leaving the show, can Regis come back? I love Regis!

My favorite thing about Regis is that he gets worked up over nothing.

For instance, he's telling a story about last night's dinner...

Joy and I went to dinner at the fine burger place, Portillos. They have the best BURGERS! Gelman, have you had a burger there? They have the best BURGERS! I'M TELLING YOU!!! YOU'VE GOT TO TRY ONE!!! GELMAN!!! BURGERS!!!

And that conversation goes on for another three to four minutes with Regis getting more irate as he goes trying to get viewers and the folks around him to understand what he's going on about. IT'S CRAZY!!!

Regis rules!

Be Well,
Steve

Mark Consuelos, Regis Philbin support Kelly Ripa amid 'Live' drama
Kelly Ripa is weathering recent Live! drama with the support of Mark Consuelos and Regis Philbin.

Consuelos, who married Ripa in 1996, and Philbin, who co-hosted Live! with Regis and Kelly with Ripa from 2001 to 2011, showed their support for the 45-year-old TV personality Thursday following word of Michael Strahan's unexpected Live! departure.

Consuelos re-tweeted a fan comment thanking Entertainment Tonight correspondent Cameron Mathison for his remarks on Ripa. The post reads, "@CameronMathison Thanks for your comments on ET about @KellyRipa and @Mark Consuelos. I'm sure they value your friendship and loyalty."

Ripa and Mathison co-starred as Hayley Vaughan and Ryan Alvery on the ABC soap opera All My Children from 1997 to 2002. Mathison also expressed interest in replacing Strahan by re-tweeting fan comments recommending him as co-host.

Philbin, meanwhile, said Ripa deserved more of a heads up about Strahan's exit in a video obtained by TMZ. ABC reportedly kept Ripa and other staff members in the dark about Strahan's departure to prevent leaks.

"They should have told her in the beginning," Philbin said. "[I think she got back-doored] to a degree. I can't tell because I'm not there." The former Live! host also said he wouldn't be interested in returning to the talk show if asked.

Strahan had nothing but good things to say about Ripa when he confirmed his exit on Wednesday's episode of Live!. Ripa was reportedly "livid" about the news and hasn't appeared on the talk show since word broke Tuesday.

Ripa and Consuelos jetted off to Turks and Caicos for a planned 20th anniversary vacation amid the drama. Sources told People magazine Strahan's departure is "hanging over [Kelly] as she goes to celebrate this milestone."

LOOSE LIPS:
"People may now think I'm 'nice,' but they still act surprised when I'm smart. It's a man's world ... I feel like I'm constantly having to prove myself. Women have to do something remarkable over and over and over. People underestimate me ... it's fun to prove them wrong."

Pamela Anderson joins cast of 'Baywatch' reboot
Pamela Anderson will appear in the forthcoming Baywatch reboot.

Dwayne Johnson announced the 48-year-old actress' casting Thursday by sharing a photo of himself with Anderson on Instagram. Anderson played C.J. Parker on the original Baywatch series.

"She introduced the world to 'CJ Parker' and became one of the most iconic characters of a generation - for the most successful TV show of all time," the 43-year-old actor lauded.

"A pleasure to welcome (as gorgeous as ever) Pamela Anderson to our #BAYWATCH cast. We couldn't have made this movie without you. Welcome home. Thrilled you had a blast with us!" he added.

Anderson played C.J. from 1992 to 1997 during Baywatch's 11-season run from 1989 to 2001. The actress was less than enthusiastic about the reboot when she spoke to E! News about the project in October.

"I'll believe it when I see it, but I wish them the best. I've heard this for 15 years," she said. "I like the way it was, though. It was charming on television. When you make a TV show [into] a movie I think it loses some of its charm."

"I'm not a big fan of remakes and I want to kind of leave it in the past," she previously explained during a September appearance on The View. "If it's an image of Baywatch of me, I kind of want you to remember that one."

Kelly Rohrbach will succeed Anderson as C.J. Parker in the reboot, which opens in theaters May 19, 2017. Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Ilfenesh Hadera, Priyanka Chopra and original star David Hasselhoff also have roles.

Which 'Walking Dead' cast member has joined the cast of sci-fi thriller 'Okja'?

Steven Yeun has signed on to star in Netflix's upcoming sci-fi thriller, Okja.

According to Deadline Hollywood, The Walking Dead star joins director Bong Joon Ho's anticipated follow-up to 2013's Snowpiercer as principal photography on the film began in Seoul, South Korea.

Yeun will be seen alongside a star-studded cast that includes Tilda Swinton, Jake Gyllenhaal and Paul Dano. Lily Collins, Devon Bostick, Byun Heebong, Shirley Henderson, Daniel Henshall, Yoon Je Moon and Choi Wooshik round out the cast.

Okja follows a young girl named Mija "who must risk everything everything to prevent a powerful, multi-national company from kidnapping her best friend - a massive animal named Okja," reads the film's official synopsis.

"With Okja I want to show the beauty that can exist between man and animal, and also the horror between them," said Bong in a statement.

Okja is set to premiere on Netflix in 2017.

It is still unknown if Yeun's fan-favorite Walking Dead character Glenn is still alive on the series following the zombie drama's mysterious blood-soaked Season 6 ending in which an unknown major character was killed.
