Here's the Scoop....

Lindsay Lohan is set to drop her last name in an attempt to put
her troubled past behind her, according to the actress' mother.

Lindsay is planning to relaunch herself as simply 'Lindsay' as
she struggles to rebuild her career following a string of
personal problems and stints in jail and rehab.

And in an apparent snub to Lindsay's father Michael Lohan, her
younger sister Ali and mother Dina are also planning to drop
the family name and use Dina's maiden moniker 'Sullivan'
instead.

Dina comments, "Lindsay is dropping the Lohan and just going by
Lindsay. Plus, me and Ali will be officially changing our last
names back to my maiden name, Sullivan."

Lindsay and her mother have been engaging in a public war of
words with Michael Lohan since his divorce from Dina was
finalized in 2007.

Ciao,
Sarah

Internet sensation Rebecca Black to donate iTunes cash...

Internet pop sensation Rebecca Black is donating proceeds from
her digital download sales on iTunes to Japanese disaster
relief charities, because she feels guilty about stealing
headlines from the earthquake/tsunami tragedies.

The teenage singer/songwriter has become an overnight sensation
since posting a video performance of her song Friday on
YouTube.com last month, and now she's making a small fortune
selling the tune via iTunes.

But she feels for the people of Japan and insists it's time for
her to help them out.

Rebecca says, "I think that I get 60 percent (of sales). I am
donating money to my school and Japan. My school, El Rancho
Charter, is really where I started focusing on singing.

"(And) I feel bad (that) Japan happened so close to mine
(story), and I feel like I'm taking away attention from it. I
really just want to give back."

Amy Adams to Play Lois Lane in New Superman...

Superman finally has his Lois Lane.

After a long search, Zack Snyder, director of Hollywood's
upcoming Superman reboot, handed the part of Lois Lane to Amy
Adams on Sunday.

The three-time Oscar nominee, 36, will star opposite Henry
Cavill, 27, who plays the Man of Steel.

"There was a big, giant search for Lois," Snyder tells the
paper. "We did a lot of auditioning, but we had this meeting
with Amy Adams, and after that I just felt she was perfect
for it."

Snyder added that the Clark Kent-Superman character must have
post-millennial appeal for the new franchise to work ? and
the same goes for the Lois Lane character.

"What's important to us is making him relevant and real and
making him empathetic to today's audience so that we understand
the decisions he makes," Snyder says. "That applies to Lois as
well. She has to be in the same universe as him [in tone and
substance]."

A number of A-list Hollywood actresses reportedly were angling
for the part. Snyder delivered the good news to Amy, an Oscar
nominee for Junebug, Doubt and The Fighter, by phone on Sunday
from Paris, where he was promoting his new film Sucker Punch.

The upcoming Superman: Man of Steel is expected to hit theaters
in December 2012.

Bret Michaels Sues CBS and Tony Awards over Head Injury...

The June 2009 Tony Awards scenery mishap that resulted in a
head injury to Bret Michaels has now erupted into a lawsuit
that the musician filed Friday in Los Angeles.

Bret's attorney, Alex Weingarten, issued the following press
statement: "The Tony Awards dropped a piece of the stage on
Bret?s head, and then instead of doing the right thing, joked
about it and played it off for ratings ? Bret never wanted to
file a lawsuit, but the Tony Awards have left us with no
choice. They must be held accountable for almost killing Bret,
and that is what we are going to do."

In the suit against CBS and the Tony Awards for unspecified
damages, Bret, who ever since the incident has suffered
precarious health, claims that despite his asking producers for
instructions on where to stand on the Radio City Music Hall
stage during his performance, he was only told to "simply exit
the stage from the rear."

He performed at the Tonys with his band Poison and the cast of
Rock of Ages, fell down after being hit by a piece of scenery
following his performance of Poison's hit "Nothin' But a Good
Time." He was knocked to the ground, and fractured his nose.
The singer also required three stitches in his lip.

According to the suit, "Bret was never told that the scenery
piece would be descending or given any warning of the existence
of the dangers it presented. Quite the opposite, Bret
specifically asked for instructions regarding how to exit after
his performance and was just told to walk off the rear of the
stage,in what was ultimately the danger zone.?

In the suit, Bret takes issues with producers telling the press
afterwards that his missed his mark. The suit also connect the
injury to his subarachnoid hemorrhage.

So far, there has been no comment from CBS or the Tony Awards.
