Today's recipe is definitely for the holiday treats
category... kids and adults both love this CANDY ROLL and
it's pretty easy to whip up. Use your favorite miniature
chocolate candy bars like Snickers or something similar
depending of what you like. Speaking of bars...I have some
tips below too that might come in handy for setting up a home bar for parties below today.
BTW: Perfect if you are looking for the perfect holiday or
housewarming gift for under $20 there are not a lot left
but you can still get the electric wine opener. No more
messing around with that cork just a press of a button and
let it do the work. So easy to hold too and the black color
goes with anything. I keep ours right in my kitchen that's

RECIPE: CANDY ROLL

INGREDIENTS:
3 tablespoons butter
10 ounces miniature marshmallows
6 cups crispy rice cereal
Cooking spray
1 1/2 feet wax paper
13 ounce package of your favorite miniature chocolate bars
8 ounce bag of M&M or cinnamon candies
DIRECTIONS:
Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and
stir until completely melted. Remove from heat and stir in
crispy rice cereal. On the wax paper, spread mixture into a
rectangular layer about 1-2 1/2 inches thick. Unwrap and chop
the candy bars, then sprinkle them onto the mixture. Spray
hands with cooking spray. Then roll the entire mixture into
a cylinder. Decorate the top of the roll with red and green
M&M candies or small red cinnamon candies. Slice an serve!

PREPPING THe BAR PREPPED FOR PARTIES:
Here's a checklist of what you'll need to get that bar
set up before your guests arrive:
* A pitcher for mixed drinks.
* Swizzle sticks for stirring drinks in glasses.
* A shot glass or jigger for measuring precise amounts
for mixed drinks (and for pouring sensible quantities
of unmixed drinks).
* A shaker set for those "shaken, not stirred" martinis
and other drinks. Look for one that's stainless steel
on the outside and that has a glass insert.
* More ice than you think you'll need. Running out of
ice at a crucial moment can be very stressful. Get out
the summer ice chests and fill them. Fill buckets and
coolers to capacity and count on your guests to use 1/4
to 1/2 pound of ice cubes per person.
* A small cutting board and paring knife for cutting
lemons and limes.
* Cocktail napkins. Here, paper rules and more is
definitely better.
* A good corkscrew.
* A strainer, which allows chilled drinks to be poured into
a glass without the ice cubes falling in.
* A long-handled spoon for stirring drinks in pitchers.
* A bottle opener.
* And last but not least, a designated bartender. Make sure
someone is behind the bar to serve guests at least their
first drink. Thereafter, partygoers can usually find their
own way back to the bar and pour refills for themselves.
If you can afford it, however, hire a professional bartender,
who will make the setup, cleanup, and everything in between
much easier.
