Hi Everyone,

Jim writes in: Do you know of any ways to remove bonding tape
residue from walls? I recently moved to a new apartment and
wanted some wall decore. I didn't use hammer or screws but
thought 3 M bonding tape would be more appropriate for pix, etc.

Jim...try taking a putty knife and using light force try removing.
If you are experience diffulty getting the putty knife underneath
the tape grab a blow-dryer. Heat the tape with the dryer, switching
between low and high heat, and stopping between to work at the getting
the tape off. The heat should make the tape soft and easy to remove.
You can remove the sticky residue by using a adhesive remover like
Goof Off using a dry rag.

Hint 1:

Hint from Eve...thanks for sharing Eve!

You know how putting aluminum foil over celery keeps it fresh
and crisp longer? Well, try it with lettuce. It keeps it
from getting "rusty" and weepy. I even use a steel blade to
cut, and it still doesn't run.

Hint 2:

Great tip from Betty...thanks :)

SOS pads or Brillo Pads. Between uses put it in a plastic bag
and store in the freezer. Won't rust out and will last for a
much longer time. Been doing this for years.
