I want to point you to an amazing philosopher/writer who really speaks from his heart. I happened to meet him in Montreal and he is not just smart, but just an all around great guy. His name is John Faithful Hamer. He is a professor who is an essayist in the mold of Thoreau. He put a collection of essays into an e-book called "From Here". I get nothing for pointing you in his direction except sharing his spirit. Worth a gander!
