QUOTE A DAY - Sept. 6, 2011

Greetings fellow quote lovers:

OK, today we have another politically motivated QAD. I know, so soon after the last missive on Zionism?

We received SO MANY emails questioning the quotations. I have spent my life reading Zionist mythology and in the US, myth has triumphed over reality.

So I wanted to expose the myth one more time...and cite the actual publication. Meir Kahane was a NY Rabbi who immigrated to Israel and developed quite a following. To this day, he is revered by many right-wing Zionists. He wrote a book, "They Must Go", referring to Palestinians living in Israel. His spiritual heir was Jabotinsky, an Israeli fascist.

If this bores you, delete now.

Best,
JA

How long can Israel survive its malignant and growing Arab population?
--Rabbi Meir Kahane, They Must Go Grosset & Dunlap 1981

We do not announce now...our final aim which is far reaching. I am unwilling to abandon the great vision, the final vision, which is an organic, spiritual and ideological component of my Zionist aspirations.

A partial Jewish state is not the end, but only the beginning. I am certain that we cannot be prevented from settling in the other parts of the country and the region. The boundaries of Zionist aspirations are the concern of the Jewish people and no external factor will be able to limit them. (these boundaries) include Southern Lebanon, Southern Syria, today's Jordan, all of Cis-Jordan [the west bank] and the Sinai.
--David Ben-Gurion - 1936-1938. p. 32 footnotes 46,47,48 David Ben-Gurion Memoirs also cited in Israel Shahak, Journal of Palestine Studies Spring 1981

Between ourselves it must be clear that there is no room for both peoples together in this country. We shall not achieve our goal if the Arabs are in this small country. There is no other way than TO TRANSFER THE ARABS from here to neighboring countries - ALL OF THEM. Not one village, not one tribe should be left".
--Joseph Weitz, head of Jewish Agency Colonization Dept., responsible for organization of settlements in Palestine. 1940 - Schoenman footnote 39 -"A solution to the refugee problem", Davar, 9/29/67. Cited in Uri Davis and Norton Mezvinsky, eds. Documents from Israel, 1967-73 p. 21

**--- MYSTERY QUOTE ---**

The Lord your God places these people in your power and you defeat them, you must put them all to death. Do not make an alliance with them or show them any mercy.

*---- More Quotes for the Week ----*

BUT THE ARAB PROBLEM WILL NOT GO AWAY, BECAUSE THE VERY EXISTENCE OF THE JEWISH STATE CREATES IT (his emphasis). Because the reality is so painful and so clearly threatening to the very foundation of the Zionist-Jewish state, Jews make haste to delude themselves with patent nonsense and cosmetic camouflage.
--Rabbi Meir Kahane, They Must Go

Above all, a Jewish state means Jewish sovereignty and control of its destiny. That can be accomplished ONLY by a PERMANENT Jewish majority, and a SMALL, INSIGNIFICANT and PLACID Arab minority. But the Arabs believe that the Jews are thieves who stole their land. The Arabs feel no ties to or emotions for a state that breathes 'Jewishness'. And they grow, quantitatively and qualitatively. They will make..demands for more power..in various parts of the land. Eventually, the very majorityship (sic) of Jews will be threatened by the Arab birthrate. The result will be bloody conflict.
--Rabbi Meir Kahane, They Must Go
