Hello Everyone...

I really got into some Psychedelic rock when I was in high school. I learned about the Doors, Jefferson Starship, Strawberry Alarm Clock, and The Grateful Dead. I never turned into a "deadhead" though, and wound up hating their music after just a few weeks. But that's just me. While most psychedelic music tends to drone on and on with a slightly somber or quirky note, I usually appreciate those more upbeat tunes.

MGMT is a more recent group that was obviously heavily influenced by those 60s bands. Using many recording techniques and filters, they had a bunch of hits a few years ago that sounded awesome. I always wondered what they sounded live, and found this great example - check it out!

Oh, and by the way, you should notice the slightly tweaked format of EVTV1 and PulseTV. You can now vote and share using the toolbar directly under the video player on the page. Much more convenient, don't you think?
