Howdy Folks,
I decided to get vanity plates made for my truck. It had
been a while since I had done somethin' nice for myself so
I went ahead and done it.
I spent three days sittin' down with a pad of paper and a
pencil trying to think of the perfect letter arrangment
for my automobile.
The wife suggested I put my name on it, but everybody and
their mother does that. My kids said I should put
"Truckster" on it, but Grandma already has that one. My
buddy Dub suggested I put "Shotgun" on the plate. When I
asked him why he said, "'cause that's where I sit in the
truck."
I sat and I thought long and hard about the word or words
that would be placed on my plates for all to see.
So I came up with "MomInLaw". It's because my truck is big,
dirty, noisy and smells like an over-used jock strap, just
like my mother in law. Love you Ma!
