Howdy Folks,
When I was alot younger than I'm right now, when I was
a dating my future wife there was a incident. One night,
we was havin' supper with her folks and afterwards I
tried to tell her dad a joke.
Now, my father-in-law doesn't have the greatest senses
of humor about himself, but I wasn't aware of that
then... but I am now.
I asked him, "Herb, do you have any holes in your under-
wear?"
He responded, "What the hell you want to know 'bout my
skivvies for, boy?"
"I was just telling a joke is all," I responded.
"No!" he said very angryly.
So I cheerfully said, "Well, if ya don't have any holes
in yer unders then how to you get yer legs on thru?"
And from that day forward, my father-in-law wore a belt and
suspenders whenever I was around him. I thing he thought it
was stylish or somethin'.
