Howdy Folks,

My wife told me that we're not gonna be havin any turkey at this years Thanksgivin. I was shocked, angry, and hungry when this made its way from my ears to my brain. What's goin on here?

She said that we are given the turkey we were supposed to eat to a less fortune bunch of folks so that they can have themselves a nice thanksgivin this year. I thought that was sweet of her. And you know times are tough for folks more often than not these days. I was really proud of her for this kindly gesture.

So i took her lead and I told her that i was gonna just buy them folks their very own turkey and all the trimmins as a sign of thankfullnessitude. She asked if i was just doin this cuz the turkey we had was a wild one that I had accidentally run over with the truck a week before and them folks weren't gonna eat no road turkey with tire marks on it.

After I explained that I clearly had the right of way during that altercation I really wanted to do something nice to do somethin nice... and traditionally whatever I run down, accidentally or intentionally, I'm gonna eat. Really the nice part is why i'm a doin it. It's true.
