Howdy Folks,

When I was a lot younger than I'm right now, when I was
Datin my future wife, there was a incident. One night,
we were having supper with her folks and afterwards I
tried to tell her dad a joke, ya know, to win him over.

Now, my father-in-law doesn't have the greatest sense of
humor about himself, but I wasn't aware of that then.

So I asked him, "Herb, do you have any holes in your
underwear?"

He responded, "What the hell you want to know 'bout my
skivvies for, boy?"

"I was just telling a joke is all," I responded.

And from that day forward, my father-in-law wore a belt and
suspenders whenever I was around him.
