Saturday, October 22, 2011Hello Everyone...
If you aren't at least slightly interested in the now-month-long protests of Occupy Wall Street, something's wrong with you. It's bringin back the ol' protestin' days of the 60's. Nobody wrote protest songs like Bob Dylan, those sure were some gems.
Of course, I'm a Gen-Xer (Some would actually classify me as Gen-Y, but they seemed to have stopped labeling generations lately) But there seems to be a lack of freedom-fighting artists out there nowadays. One of the best bands around, Pearl Jam embodies the spirit of the peace movement of old, especially when covering Mr. Dylan's "Masters of War."
