Here's the Scoop....

No one was under the illusion that Simon Cowell would be easy
to replace.

And, as speculation about who will sit in the hot seat he?s
vacated on American Idol continues, two more big names have
hit the radar: Both Justin Timberlake and Elton John are on
producer Simon Fuller?s short list.

What about the future of the current judges? Sources say that
FOX is looking to lure back ex-Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe,
who has said he would clean house if it were up to him.

The judge most likely to be left standing is Randy Jackson,
but it would also be difficult to let go Ellen DeGeneres,
who has a multi-year contract with FOX. According to a source
in her camp, she?s prepared to fulfill the contract. Kara
DioGuardi?s deal is year-to-year, and it has yet to be renewed.

Elton and Justin join Chris Isaak, Shania Twain, and Harry
Connick Jr. on the list of possible replacements.

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian Are Moving in Together...

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are taking the next step in
their relationship ? he's moving in.

"It just made sense for them," a source dishes. "Eddie's
lease was up and LeAnn's home was bigger and already
familiar to Eddie's sons." (Eddie shares custody of Mason,
7, and Jake, 3, with his ex, model Brandi Glanville.)

"It's somewhere the kids know and it allows Mason to stay
in the same school district, which was important to them,
that there's continuity for him," the source says. "They
take [moving in with the kids] with a lot of responsibility.
They want to make sure that it was done in the right way."

According to the source, the move to the gated community
in L.A.'s San Fernando Valley won't "be an overnight
thing," but will happen over the course of the next month.

LeAnn's rep confirms the news saying, "they're excited for
this happy new journey."

The country singer, whose covers album Lady and Gentlemen
is due Oct. 5, is excited to let Mason and Jake decorate
two of her former guest bedrooms so they can feel at home,
says the source, who adds that the boys "love LeAnn's dogs,
and the swimming pool and the backyard."

With LeAnn's divorce from chef Dean Sheremet finalized in
June, and Eddie's divorce pending, could an engagement be
on the horizon?

Says the source: "They're just enjoying the moment and are
hopeful about their future together."

RPattz Gets Into It with the Paparazzi...

Most celebrities have a breaking point when it comes to
paparazzi pursuit, and this weekend, Robert Pattinson
reached his.

Persistent photogs pursued the "Twilight" actor all weekend,
culminating Sunday when Robert left a party in Malibu,
hounded by shutterbugs, and allegedly bumped into two parked
cars as he was trying to leave.

A short while later, a clearly frustrated Robert got out of
his car on Pacific Coast Highway and confronted the pursuing
paparazzi, asking them to leave him alone. He even tried to
solicit the help of a nearby police officer. Finally, he
just got back into his car and left.

As for the alleged bump and run, his rep says "Robert was
pulling out of a parking space after a quiet day in Malibu
yesterday and was relentlessly pursued by paparazzi. He
has no knowledge of having bumped or damaged another car
in the process."

Robert once said "If you've got people waiting outside your
house, it's difficult to go out. It gets annoying. But
there are always ways to avoid everything. I mean I go out
and I'm hardly ever seen out, really."

Casey Affleck sued for sexual harassment...

Actor Casey Affleck has been accused of sexual harassment by
a producer of his quirky documentary about brother-in-law
Joaquin Phoenix's attempts to become a rap star.

Amanda White claims Casey acted inappropriately while directing
"I'm Still Here" and she is suing him for $2 million.

In papers filed in Los Angeles on Friday, Amanda alleges she
endured "uninvited and unwelcome sexual advances in the
workplace" while making the movie.

She claims Casey referred to women as 'cows' and discussed his
sexual exploits in front of her. Amanda also alleges Casey,
who is married to Joaquin's sister Summer, and the film's star
took over her hotel room in Costa Rica one night to entertain
two women; and the director attempted to get her to spend the
night with him in his hotel room in San Francisco.

In the lawsuit, Amanda claims Casey became "hostile and
aggressive" when she turned him down and "violently grabbed
her arm in an effort to intimidate her into staying."

Amanda has a list of damages, which includes sexual harassment,
breach of oral contract and intentional infliction of emotional
distress.

She also claims Casey owes her money for her services as
producer on "I'm Still Here."

Casey's attorney says, "Ms. White was terminated from the
production over a year ago. She and her lawyers believe that
this maliciously and erroneously filed complaint will cause
the producers to succumb to her outrageous and baseless
demands. She is mistaken. The complaint will be vigorously
defended and cross-claims will be filed against her."

The suit comes a week after bosses at Magnolia Pictures
claimed the distribution rights to the documentary and
announced plans to release the film in September.

"I'm Still Here" chronicles a year in Joaquin's life after
he publicly gave up acting and tried to establish himself
as a rap star.

Kings of Leon cancel gig after pigeon poop attack...

Rockers Kings of Leon were forced to abandon a concert in St.
Louis, Missouri on Friday night after they became targets for
defecating pigeons.

The "Sex on Fire" group attempted to play on as the birds let
the bandmates know what they thought of their music, but when
bassist Jared Followill was hit in the face three songs into
the set, the act left the stage at the Verizon Amphitheatre.

A spokesman for the band's management says, "It was disgusting
and it's a toxic health hazard. They (band) really tried to
hang in there."

According to reports, the birds were resting in the rafters of
the outdoor venue and when the group started playing, they
fled - firing dirty missiles at the bandmates as they flew off.

Jared comments, "I was hit by pigeons on each of the first three
songs. We had 20 songs on the set list. By the end of the show,
I would have been covered from head to toe.

"The last thing I was going to do was look up... We must have
caught them right after a big Thanksgiving dinner."

The band has since apologized to fans, insisting they plan to
reschedule the show.

*-*-* GUESS WHO *-*-*-

This actress has vowed to never lie about her age, because
she isn't ashamed of growing older...

It's Penelope Cruz...

The 36-year-old actress is determined to grow old "gracefully"
like movie icons Sophia Loren and Audrey Hepburn, and she's
determined not to play the Hollywood game of knocking a few
years off her birth date.

She comments, "I never want to lie about my age. If I look
around at the actresses I admire, they are all women who
have not fought growing older, but embraced it - women like
Sophia Loren or Audrey Hepburn...

"Of course my face will change as I get older, but that's OK.
It's a good thing to be old, because that means you haven't
died yet right? And when I do get older, I want to have the
grace to be proud of it, not to lie about it or try to fight it.

"The people who love me, love me for who I am. They love me
for a mixture of things that makes anyone love another person,
and those things will still be there when I am 40, 60 or 80."
