Handy Hints
Hi Everyone,

Today's issue we are going to focus on the different ways we can use coffee filters around the house. Many of you probably didn't know coffee filters can be used for more than just making your morning cup of joe! Well, wake up people, there are so many ways to use these :)

Here's your first tip: Now you can make houseplants less messy by lining your flowerpots and planter with a coffee filter. This will stop soil from falling through the drainage hole.

Be Handy,
Holly

Hint #1: I love this tip, and am going to use it this weekend.

Use a coffee filter to make an air freshener. Simply place a tablespoon of baking soda in the center of the coffee filter and tie it closed with a piece of twine or a rubber band. You can stash these little packets in the fridge to absorb odors, in closets, or in drawers.

This weekend I'm going to try this, but instead of using baking soda I'm going to use bath salts (which are scented). I'll let you guys know how it turns out :)

Hint #2:
Keep your hardware organized

Place your nails, screws, and bolts in separate coffee filters while you are working on a project to keep them from rolling off the table.
