Bristol Palin to Act on The Secret Life...
Bristol Palin, eldest daughter of former vice presidential
candidate Sarah Palin, is scheduled to guest star on an
upcoming episode of ABC Family?s The Secret Life of the
American Teenager, the network announced Tuesday.
The appearance will mark the dramatic acting debut of the
teen mom, who will play herself.
?I am thrilled to be on this show and to be a part of a
program that educates teens and young adults about the
consequences of teen pregnancy,? Bristol said.
In the story, Bristol will befriend Amy, played by Shailene
Woodley, at a music program for teen moms. The episode will
be filmed in Los Angeles and be shown this summer during
the series? third season.
?Bristol is the most famous teenage mother in America,? says
the show?s executive producer Brenda Hampton, whose 7th
Heaven also addressed the issue of teen pregnancy. ?I think
she will bring additional attention to the issues facing
teen parents that we?ve been exploring for a couple of
seasons now.?

Country Singer James Otto to Be a Dad...
Country singer James Otto and his wife of five years, Amy,
are expecting their first child, Otto's rep says.
"Amy and I are so excited and feel so blessed," says the
"Just Got Started Lovin' You" singer. "I am overwhelmed
with joy at the idea of becoming a father! This is truly
going to be an amazing, life-altering experience."
James, who was part of Nashville's MuzikMafia, along with
pals Big & Rich and Gretchen Wilson, says the baby is due
in August.
The baby will have an impressive country pedigree on both
sides of his family, James' brother-in-law is Rascal Flatts's
member Jay DeMarcus. The two artists' wives are sisters.

Social services pay a visit to the Sheen family home...
Actor Charlie Sheen received a call from social services over
the weekend when they paid a visit to his Los Angeles home.
The "Two and a Half Men" star is currently looking after his
twin sons Bob and Max, who turn one on March 14, after his
wife Brooke Mueller checked into a rehab facility in Malibu,
California earlier this month.
The couple has been working on rebuilding its marriage
following a Christmas day bust-up in Aspen, Colorado which
led to Charlie's arrest.
Officials with the Los Angeles County child services department
have been keeping a close eye on Charlie and Brooke to ensure
their boys are not at any risk and the actor met with a
representative on Sunday.
Details about the trip have yet to emerge, but a source says,
"It was a short visit. It was over something that's been
happening over the last two weeks."
Charlie is due to appear before a judge on March 15, when he
will be arraigned for the assault charges.

Tiger & Elin Apologize to Parents at Daughter's School...
Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren have reportedly written a letter
to the parents of children at their daughter Sam's preschool
apologizing for the media attention since the golf star's sex
scandal erupted last year.
"We would like to share our appreciation for your support over
the past several months and offer our personal apology for any
inconvenience you are experiencing due to the increased media
scrutiny surrounding our children," reads the letter to Premier
Academy parents.
Tiger and Elin say they're trying to "keep life as normal
as possible" for daughter, Sam, 2, and son Charlie, 1.
"For Sam, that normalcy means attending the school that she
enjoys so much," the letter concludes.
This latest apology comes only days after Tiger's mea culpa
to the world, when he admitted on live television that he
cheated on Elin and was solely to blame for the controversy.
The scandal broke after Tiger crashed his SUV into a tree over
Thanksgiving.

Her reason for storing it there, she says, is "because basically
everybody wants to touch it, everybody wants to hold it and go
'Oh, my gosh,' and 'How heavy is it?' So I figured if I put it

Kate, also walked the red carpet at the annual BAFTA awards in
