Here's the Scoop....Beyonce has been called the most beautiful woman in the world for 2012 by People magazine.
The pop superstar is glowing after giving birth to her first child, Blue Ivy, in January, and editors at the publication have chosen the new mom to top their annual beauty countdown.
And the star insists motherhood has improved her self esteem, adding: "I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth.
"I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth."
Beyonce takes the title from Jennifer Lopez, who was handed the honor last year.

Al Pacino injured on 'Stand Up Guys' set...Al Pacino was treated by medics on the set of his new movie, "Stand Up Guys," after hurting his eye in an explosive gun wielding scene.
The actor teamed up with fellow veteran star Christopher Walken for the movie, in which two aging gangsters enjoy one last job.
The pair filmed a gunfight sequence on the streets of Los Angeles, with both firing off fake pistols in front of the cameras on Monday.
But Al was left wincing in pain after the scene wrapped, and medics had to wash out his eye with solution. It's not known how the actor was injured.
Jack Osbourne is a new dad...Ozzy Osbourne is a grandfather - his son Jack's fiancee, Lisa Stelly, has given birth to the couple's first child.
Jack's sister Kelly Osbourne broke the baby news via Twitter.com on Tuesday, stating, "I am one proud Auntie!"
Reports suggest the happy couple plans to call the baby girl Pearl.
The arrival comes a day after Jack's nervous mom Sharon appeared on TV in America and revealed the baby was late just like her.
She told chat show host Ellen DeGeneres, "It could be (born) any second... I've got the kettle on. I've got towels. I've got everything ready."

Answer Below New song featuring Left Eye released on eve of death anniversary...A previously unreleased track featuring late TLC star Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes has been made available to purchase online to mark the 10-year anniversary of her death.
The tune, "Fantasies," by rapper Bootleg, initially began circulating on the internet in late February, but on Tuesday, record executives at German label Block Starz Music released it as a charity download to honor the TLC star.
Proceeds from the single will benefit the late rapper's youth organization, the Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes Foundation.
Meanwhile, Lopes' TLC bandmates Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas reveal they are producing a new biopic for a VH1 TV special.
And the two singers admit they are still grieving Lopes' tragic death in a horrific car crash in Honduras on April 25, 2002.
In a statement to AllHipHop.com, Watkins says, "The word anniversary means a celebration. For us her death will never be a celebration, it's still something that hurts."
Thomas adds, "Lisa is our sister. You never get over losing a family member. We love her and we miss her and that isn't ever going to change... But this project (biopic) is truly a dream come true for us."
Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley Welcome Second Daughter...Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley�s family is growing.
The couple, already parents to 3-year-old daughter Naleigh - whom they adopted from South Korea - have welcomed a second little girl, the actress's rep confirms.
"Yes they have adopted a baby," rep Jill Fritzo says. "No further details are available at this time."
Katherine says adoption was always in the plan she had for a family with her singer-songwriter husband, 32.
"Josh and I started talking about it before we were even engaged," the actress, 33, said in January.
"We have talked about having biological children as well, but we decided to adopt first. I'd like to adopt again."

It's Kirstie Alley...The former "Cheers" star admits she fell for her demanding dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy in a huge way during her time on the popular contest, and in a new TV special, she reveals she often thought about what he would be like in bed.
In an interview with "20/20," which will air on Monday night, Alley says, "Maks is so hardcore. He's brutal. He's charming and brutal at the same time, and so if you can survive Maks, it's exhilarating.
"My husbands, my lovers, they are not my confidantes, but I would tell Maks everything! He would tell me everything. We became, like, this very tight relationship.
"(And) I'd think in my head, 'I want to bang you!'"
