Here's the Scoop....

Country-music legend Willie Nelson was arrested Friday in
Texas and charged with marijuana possession after police
allegedly found six ounces of marijuana on his tour bus.

The bus was stopped at the Border Patrol checkpoint in
Sierra Blanca, east of El Paso, reports the El Paso Times.
He posted bond and was released.

Willie, 77, was headed from California to Austin, where he
owns a ranch.

He could face a minimum of six months in prison if convicted.
Hudspeth County sheriff Arvin West told the El Paso Times
that Willie would be treated like any inmate if incarcerated
in his jail.

"He could get 180 days in county jail, which if he does, I'm
going to make him cook and clean," West said. "He can wear
the stripy uniforms just like the other ones do."

Reports suggest that Willie could argue that he forgot the
marijuana was on the bus when he left California, where
medical marijuana is legal.

James Franco & Anne Hathaway Hosting the 2011 Oscars...

Having two hosts for the 2010 Academy Awards was such a success
that it might be happening again this year. Last year?s duo
Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin could be passing the host honors
to none other than James Franco and Anne Hathaway! It?s been
reported that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences are
looking to have the two-some take the stage for this year?s
ceremony.

2009 Oscar host and Australian actor Hugh Jackman was such a
hit when he hosted the awards, but he turned down an offer to
make his return to the Oscar stage due to scheduling conflicts
for the filming of his Wolverine sequel.

Both James and Anne have generated some Oscar buzz for their
roles in two of the most-talked about films for this year. James
is expected to earn a nomination for his role in 127 Hours,
based on a true story of hiker Aron Ralston. Anne was nominated
for Best Actress in 2009 for her role in Rachel Getting Married
and has been getting great reviews for her performance in Love
& Other Drugs.

The 2011 Academy Awards will be held on February 27 at the Kodak
Theatre in Hollywood.

Leslie Nielsen Dies...

Shirley, he will be missed. Leslie Nielsen, who made audiences
laugh with his ridiculous seriousness and deadpan deliveries
in the absurd scenes of comedy films like Airplane! and The
Naked Gun, has died. He was 84.

His agent, John. S. Kelly, confirmed that the actor died Sunday
near his home in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., surrounded by his
"lovely wife and friends" at 5:34 p.m. ET, due to complications
of pneumonia.

Leslie had been hospitalized for nearly two weeks as a result
from pneumonia, his agent said.

"Just in this last 48 hours, the infection has gotten too much,"
his nephew Doug Nielsen told Canadian radio station CKNW. "He
just fell asleep and passed away."

Jason London Is Engaged...

Dazed and confused? Not when it comes to love.

Actor Jason London, best known as the ambivalent quarterback in
the '70s-set high-school flick Dazed and Confused, got engaged
on Saturday to his actress girlfriend Sofia Karstens.

Jason, 38, who now stars in SyFy's Weather Wars, is also the
twin brother of actor Jeremy London, who made headlines last
summer when he said he was abducted in Palm Springs, Calif.,
and forced to take drugs by his kidnappers.

Jason proposed to his girlfriend of two years with a ring handed
down from her grandmother. They are planning a wedding in Vermont
for July 16.

"I love waking up with my best friend every morning," Jason said.

Sofia added: "I feel so lucky to have such an amazing man in my
life."

Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal Cozy Up in Nashville...

It's been a busy travel weekend for most Americans, and
especially for Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Two days after enjoying maple lattes together in Brooklyn, N.Y.,
on Thanksgiving, Taylor and Jake popped up in the singer's
hometown of Nashville.

On Saturday afternoon, the couple were spotted getting a late
breakfast at Fido, a coffeehouse and café near Vanderbilt
University and Music Row.

"They were smiling and laughing. They were talking a lot and
enjoying each other's company," fellow diner Elaina Mishu says.
"They didn't look like [just] friends."

Customer Emma Rice, who snapped a photo of the pair, calls the
duo "very cute" and says, "They seemed close."

Taylor, 20, and Jake, 29, were first spotted together in late
October.

And while Jake has avoided commenting on his relationship with
Taylor, they aren't hiding their affection.

"They were not trying to be discreet by any means," another
eyewitness says of the pair, who sat at a table near a window.
"They were definitely a couple. They looked very happy."

Kardashian, Gaga and More Staging Digital Deaths for a Cause...

Don't worry, Kim Kardashian is not really dead. But starting
Wednesday, she won't be quite as lively on social media.

Kim, 30, is joining sister Khloe, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake,
Alicia Keys and other stars in signing off Facebook and Twitter
beginning Wednesday, which is World AIDS Day, to draw attention
to the disease.

The campaign, called Digital Life Sacrifice, includes ads that
show Kim and others lying in coffins to symbolize their digital
deaths. They will sign back on when the Keep a Child Alive
charity ? which Alicia has been closely involved with, raises
$1 million.

Other celebrities joining the campaign include Jennifer Hudson,
Ryan Seacrest, Elijah Wood, Serena Williams and Alicia's husband,
Swizz Beatz.

Keep a Child Alive will accept donations via text message and
bar-code technology embedded in the ads. The charity raises
money for families affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India.

"We're trying to sort of make the remark: Why do we care so much
about the death of one celebrity as opposed to millions and
millions of people dying in the place that we're all from?" says
Leigh Blake, co-founder of Keep a Child Alive. "It's about love
and respect and human dignity."

*-*-* GUESS WHO *-*-*-

This actress has no qualms about carving out a career as
Hollywood's bad girl, insisting she would rather be
typecast as "too hardcore" than play a sex object...

It's Michelle Rodriguez...

The actress made her debut playing a female boxer in 2000
drama "Girlfight" and has since made a name for herself
portraying headstrong women in the "Fast and the Furious"
franchise, "Machete" and "Avatar."

But Michelle insists she'd sooner take on repetitive roles
than be cast solely for her sex appeal.

She comments, "My entire career is made up of those girl-
power moments. I don't mind typecasting because I know
what the alternative is. I'm trying to create roles that
are the perfect balance between man and woman."

"I'm not looking at what everyone else is doing. There's
tons of sex and hot girls - I could do that, but it's done.
Stick a fork in it!"
