Here's the Scoop....Actress/singer Vanessa Williams has revealed she had an abortion in high school.
The "Desperate Housewives" star opened up about her childhood struggles in new memoir "You Have No Idea" and recently admitting she was molested by a family friend at the age of 10.
And now Vanessa has dropped another bombshell - she got pregnant as a teenager and terminated the pregnancy without her mother Helen's knowledge, because she didn't feel ready to be a parent.
In an interview with ABC's "Nightline," she says, "Being pregnant is the most frightening thing that happens in your life. I knew in high school that's something that I was not prepared to do or fight or struggle with."
The 49-year-old now has four kids - three from her first marriage to former manager Ramon Harvey II and one child with ex-husband and basketball star Rick Fox.

Jack Osbourne becomes U.S. citizen...British reality TV star Jack Osbourne has become a U.S. citizen.
The son of rocker Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon was born in the U.K. but has lived in the U.S. for years, and on Tuesday Jack told his Twitter.com fans he is now an American.
In a series of posts, he writes, "Woah. I just became a US citizen. Don't worry England I'm still British. This is what @OfficialOzzy texted me- 'So I guess u have become an American oh well just as long as you r happy I still love you dearly.'"
The news comes during an eventful time for Jack. His fiancee Lisa Stelly is due to give birth to their first child this week.
Anna Paquin pregnant..."True Blood" co-stars and real-life couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are expecting their first child together.
Anna, who won an Oscar for her role in "The Piano," is due in the fall.
The baby will be Anna's first. Stephen has two kids from previous relationships.
Anna and Stephen, who play lovers in the hit TV vampire drama, married in Malibu, Calif., in 2010.

The singer came to the rescue of an injured hummingbird she discovered on her Texas ranch over the weekend.
"Look what I found. Poor thing must have hit my window and is stunned. Hope he's not hurt 2 bad," she Tweeted Sunday, with a photo of the tiny bird in the palm of her hand.
The animal lover and mom to 10-month-old son Kase set up a cozy place for the bird to recover and nursed it with supplemental food.
"I gave him sugar water and made him a comfy little nest out of old gloves," she Tweeted. "Hope he feels better!"
Cyrus Cuts Finger, Requires Stitches...Miley Cyrus is recovering after a trip to the hospital on Tuesday.
Photographed with white gauze thickly wrapped around her left pointer finger, the former Disney starlet "cut her finger while cooking," her rep reveals.
"[She] had to get a few stitches," the rep continues. "She's doing fine."
In the photograph, Miley, 19 - clad in black combat boots and a black and white jumper covered in skulls - looked like she was experiencing a little bit of discomfort, but was tear-free.

It's Johnny Depp and Natalie Portman...The Beatles legend recruited the Hollywood stars to sign the lyrics to his track "My Valentine" in a black-and-white promo directed by McCartney himself.
However, deaf devotees have now pointed out errors made by the actors: Natalie signs the word "tampon" instead of "appear," while Johnny makes the motion for "enemy" while attempting "valentine."
However, a representative for The British Deaf Association has heaped praise on the duo for their efforts.
A spokesperson says, "It's great that famous people such as Johnny Depp and Natalie Portman are highlighting the use of sign language. Their use of it is more a poetic expression.
"The sign for tampon does seem to come up from both Johnny and Natalie, which causes some confusion, especially as American and British sign languages are different.
"It would have been nice if genuine deaf people had been used. But it's still great."
