Organic Nail Polish Should You Use It?

With all of the different types of nail polish out there and
changes in formulations, it can be pretty hard to choose just what nail polish will work best for you and with you. Given the many harmful substances that are contained in the more traditional nail polish formulations, and how we are becoming a more health-conscious society as a whole, its no wonder why organic nail polish has entered the cosmetic market with a "bang" and is steadily growing in popularity.

Many studies have proven just how harmful the traditional
formulations of nail polish can be. Not only are these
formulations filled with cancer-causing ingredients, but
these same ingredients have been well documented as causing fertility and reproductive issues, behavioral problems, and they are also just plain harmful for the environment.

Some of the nasty chemicals that you can find in regular
every day nail polish include:

- Formaldehyde
- Toulene
- DBP (Dibutyl phthalate)

These chemicals are not only a concern for everyone, but they are especially a concern for women who are pregnant. These ingredients are harmful to both the mother and the unborn baby, which is why more and more health-wise pregnant women are turning to organic nail polish.

So just what is organic nail polish? Organic nail polish
offers you a chemical-free nail polish formulation that is
also a natural product. This means that the products used in an organic nail polish have not been processed or have had any additives, such as a preservative or dye, added to them. These products are non toxic and very safe to use.

If you open up a bottle of organic nail polish, you will
immediately notice its lack of odor. That strong, chemical
stench that conventional nail polish forces upon you isnt a problem with organic nail polish simply because organic nail polish does not contain these chemicals.

As mentioned above, organic nail polish is also safer for the environment. With no toxins being used and the products being kept in their natural state, far less manufacturing is having to go into the production of organic nail polish and these products can return to the earth safely and with little to no side effects.

Heres the problem with anything that is organic: Organic
products tend to be fairly unregulated, especially when it
comes to cosmetics. Though there is a large push for organic cosmetics to meet the same standards as organic foods, this has yet to be done by the FDA and other agencies that are responsible for assuring that products are, indeed, organic. This means that a bit more research is left up to the consumer before a product is purchased.

If you are interested in buying a bottle of organic nail
polish or two, then make sure you research the company online first and review the ingredients that are in the polish itself. Quickly search the ingredients online and review any potential side effects and contact the companys customer support if you have any questions.
