Here's the Scoop....

Portia de Rossi's second anniversary gift for Ellen DeGeneres?
A name change.

Portia, who tied the knot with the talk show host, on Aug. 17,
2008, has asked the court to legally change her name to Portia
Lee James DeGeneres, according to a petition filed Friday in
L.A. County Superior Court.

As for the reason, the papers, which were initially signed by
Portia in March, say, "Petitioner is taking the last name of
her spouse."

But she isn't a DeGeneres just yet. The name change won't be
official until a hearing, scheduled for Sept. 23, takes place.

One Tree Hill Star's Marriage Over After Just a Month...

That was fast.

Just a month after tying the knot, Johnathon Schaech and One

"Jana and Johnathon have agreed to dissolve their marriage,"
Kramer's rep says. "Jana is humbled by the outpouring of
support from her fans, friends and family, and appreciates
the respect of her privacy."

Johnathon previously said that getting engaged to Jana, was
the "happiest moment of my life."

The exes met in 2008 while shooting Prom Night and wed on

Levi Johnston Eyes Run for Mayor...

Some people will do anything for attention, including
running for mayor of Wasilla, Alaska.

The latest hopeful to toss his hat into the ring? None
other than reality-star wannabe Levi Johnston, who hopes
his campaign will attract viewers to his proposed TV
reality show.

Levi has paired with the veteran reality firm Stone and Co.,
already responsible for TLC's Extreme Food Sculpting, to
pitch a Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor's Office pilot,
the production company confirms.

Those with memory loss may need to be reminded that Levi's
almost mother-in-law, Sarah Palin, was mayor of the small
town (pop. 10,000) from 1992-2002, before becoming governor
of the state.

Not that Levi appears to be seeking higher office. Besides
tracking the former Playgirl model on the campaign trail,
his show would also offer an inside look at his being a
father to his 19-month-old son (with Bristol Palin) Tripp
and his quest for a Hollywood career.

Speaking to Variety, Levi said it was the producers' idea,
not his, to add the run for mayor to the show. Already
hobnobbing in Hollywood, Levi attended last Sunday's Teen
Choice Awards in Los Angeles.

Earlier, there had been talk of Levi and Bristol sharing
their wedding and early married life with a reality-TV
camera crew, but that potential plan went up in smoke
when the two young parents went their separate ways.

Hayden Christensen & Rachel Bilson Call Off Engagement...

Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen have officially ended
their engagement.

Reports surfaced a couple months ago that the duo were on
a break, but now the split is permanent. "Yes, the
engagement is off," Rachel's rep confirms, but declined
to provide details on the breakup.

Distance was reportedly one of the main reasons for the
split. With Rachel primarily in L.A., and Hayden in
Canada, "It just wasn't working out," says a pal of the
actress.

Now Rachel is "focusing on her career, spending time with
her family and just moving forward," adds the friend.

Hayden, 29, and Rachel, 28, met on the set of Jumper in
2007, and got engaged in December of the following year.

to be a part of TV's biggest night.

display her not-so-serious side at the very beginning of
the show with Emmys host Jimmy Fallon, and she'll be getting

*-*-* GUESS WHO *-*-*-

This Hollywood Starlet can't wait to see Audrey Hepburn
replaced in a remake of "My Fair Lady," because she's
convinced the star couldn't sing or act...

It's Emma Thompson...

Emma is currently drafting a screenplay for the upcoming
reworking of the 1964 musical in which Audrey played
Cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle.

And she plans to give her script a feminist makeover,
because she couldn't stand Audrey's "twee" portrayal
of such an "extraordinary role."

Emma comments, "I was thrilled to be asked to do it
because, having a look at it, I thought that there needs
to be a new version. I'm not hugely fond of the film. I
find Audrey fantastically twee.

"Twee is whimsy without wit. It's mimsy-mumsy sweetness
without any kind of bite. And that's not for me. She
can't sing and she can't really act, I'm afraid. I'm
sure she was a delightful woman, and perhaps if I had
known her I would have enjoyed her acting more, but I
don't and I didn't, so that's all there is to it, really.

"It was (costumer) Cecil Beaton's designs and (Audrey's
co-star)Rex Harrison that gave it its extraordinary
quality. I don't do Audrey Hepburn. I think that she's
a guy thing... It's high time that the extraordinary
role of Eliza was reinterpreted, because it's a very
fantastic part for a woman."

"An Education" star Carey Mulligan has been tipped to
takeon the role of Doolittle.
