Here's the Scoop....

Good Charlotte star Joel Madden and socialite/actress Nicole
Richie are to wed in December, according to new reports.

Nicole was overheard chatting about the nuptials with best
friend Christina Aguilera at the Soho house in Los Angeles
on Saturday night.

A source says, "I heard Nicole Richie talking excitedly to
Christina Aguilera about her upcoming wedding. She said,
'29 days to go!'"

Reports also suggest the couple is planning an early December
wedding and a decoy party in an attempt to bamboozle the
paparazzi.

Nicole and Joel have been dating for over four years and
have two children together - Harlow, two, and Sparrow, one.

Nancy O'Dell to Replace Mary Hart on Entertainment Tonight...

Mary Hart is preparing to bid farewell to Entertainment Tonight,
and Nancy O'Dell has been named as her successor.

"I remember watching Entertainment Tonight when it first premiered
and dreaming about working for the show someday," Nancy says. "I
am honored to be the one chosen to fill a TV legend's seat and I
hope I can do her proud!"

Over the summer, Mary, 60, announced her plans to leave the show
in 2011 after nearly 30 years on ET.

"Leaving this job was not an easy decision, but knowing I will
pass the baton to Nancy O'Dell makes that decision much easier,"
Mary said. "Nancy is a talented and respected entertainment
correspondent. We have spent many years working on opposite sides
of the celebrity battlefield and I know the show will flourish
with Nancy as co-anchor."

Nancy, 44, who served as co-anchor of Access Hollywood for 13
years, will join ET as a special correspondent in January. She'll
then take on the role of co-host, alongside Mark Steines, after
Mary finishes out her final season on the show.

Dina Lohan Admits Lindsay Lohan Is an Addict...

After years of downplaying Lindsay Lohan's struggles with substance
abuse, Dina Lohan admitted that her daughter is an addict.

In an interview with Today's Matt Lauer, Dina described her famous
daughter, who is being treated at the Betty Ford Center in
California, as "happy [and] relaxed."

"She's just a different person," Dina said. "She's been in a couple
facilities, but this one to me has really changed her."

Dina had previously defended Lindsay on the Today show, instead
placing blame on the judge in her case. When asked on Monday by
Lauer why she was unwilling to admit Lindsay had a problem in
the past, Dina said, "That was for Lindsay to admit. As a mother
it wasn't for me to come to tell the world ? about her problem."

"That was for her to do," she said. "I wasn't in denial."

Dina also somewhat revised her opinion about her daughter's
tumultuous relationship with her father, Michael Lohan, saying
she thinks it would be good for the two to reconnect.

When asked about online reports of an emotional reunion with
Michael, Dina said she supported "whatever the facility wishes
for her. It's all about Lindsay and her healing."

As to what will happen to her daughter, who has relapsed numerous
times, once she is released from rehab on Jan. 3, Dina is
cautiously optimistic.

"We take it one day at a time," she said. "Addiction is difficult.
I don't know. I don't have a crystal ball. I pray hard ... We can
only be positive and look to the future to help other families."

Shannen Doherty's Father Dies...

As Shannen Doherty told PEOPLE last March, she was inspired to
take on the challenge of Dancing with the Stars after her
father suffered a devastating stroke on Christmas Day.

Now, the former 90210 actress, 39, has released a statement with
the sad news that her dad, John Thomas Doherty, died on Friday.
He was 66.

In her statement, issued through her publicist, Shannen called
her father the "greatest man in the world . . . I love him with
every inch of my being and cannot imagine life without him."

John Thomas Doherty worked in a Memphis bank while his wife,
Rosa, owned a beauty parlor at the time Shannen was born. (A
brother, Sean, is four years older than Shannen.) When the
future actress was 7, the family moved to Los Angeles, where
John started a transportation business.

How Gwyneth Paltrow Dropped 20 Lbs. After Country Strong...

It wasn't easy for Gwyneth Paltrow's personal trainer to sit by
and watch her client pack on 20 pounds to play an alcoholic singer
in Country Strong. But Tracy Anderson had faith that Gwyneth would
lose the weight quickly.

"They wanted her to eat a lot of fried chicken," Tracy said at the
movie's premiere Monday in Nashville. "It was frustrating for me,
but they wanted her to gain."

Tracy has been working with Gwyneth, 38, for years, and says this
was the first time the scales began to tip in the wrong direction.

"When I trained her for the first Iron Man movie, I took 30 pounds
off her," Tracy said. "And she's been consistent ever since."

Until the Country Strong role came along, that is, and Gwyneth
immersed herself in the Nashville scene, falling in love with
Music City's Southern-style cuisine along the way. "She's never
been a dieter, she loves to eat," Tracy says.

But after filming wrapped, Gwyneth went back to her normal exercise
routine and dropped the weight immediately. She didn't even need
to kick it up a notch, says Tracy.

Tracy worked out with Gwyneth for a gruelling hour and a half on
Monday, in preparation for the Oscar winner's live performance
at Wednesday's CMA Awards. "I made her sweat," Tracy said. "The
CMAs is a tough stage to share."

It's Kim Kardashian...

The wealthy socialite has lent her name to the Kardashian Prepaid
MasterCard, which will let parents give their kids a small amount
of credit so they can keep an eye on their finances.

A representative for Mobile Resource, which is launching the card,
says, "Teens do not spend their money as their parents think they
do. And, drugs are a huge problem in this country. I give my son
a small amount of cash and track his spending on his card."

Kim will launch the card at a party at Pacha nightspot in New York.
